Went Sat night, VIP +. Been there many years in the past except for the last 2 years ( Covid, etc). Here's the deal: it's a super cool event at the perfect time if the year for Phx, but for the VIP section they definitely need more stand up tables to eat on, more food truck options and more places to get a drink options.Space heaters too because when the sun goes down. Plus this is the first year your limited to only $ 100 food and drinks for vip +, regular VIP gets you no drinks or food. You can smell pot everywhere, so maybe not great for kids? Or maybe ok? I don't know anymore. In the past it was unlimited food and 10 drinks on your wristband. For over $300 a ticket VIP + one should get better treatment charity or no charity.I think it was oversold too.Thousands of people, no masks, packed bathrooms.People in vip + eating on ground? Yikes!!Musical acts just ok this year.Think it's getting worse in quality year after year.Staff helpful when you find one.I think if your 15-25 and or high on shrooms, then you'll really enjoy this event.

I have loved this music festival for years! Have looked forward to going every year. I always go VIP, which includes food and drink. This year was a major disappointment. Not only did I pay for VIP, but basically, it included a nice bathroom and seating. This is my last year, unless it changes! What a total rip-off!! There are better ways to spend my money!! Not to mention the toilets my so-called VIP ticket paid for half of them didn't work!!!

Such an amazing festival! This is the first year that they offered cabanas, and they were so fun! All of the bands were amazing! Have to admit, I didn't know any of them, but loved them all! The "people watching" was superb! Highly recommend this festival, and can't wait 'til next year!

Worst entrance policy ever. They only have one entrance for the whole concert venue. We have been waiting for over 30 min and we bought advance tickets. The will call line is shorter. Have some feel and have more than one way for people who actually have tickets to get in quickly. Poor planning on every level.

Really fun concert! Hance park was a good place to have this event. It was nice and open. I had a lot of fun walking around and seeing the different vendors. Got an awesome vegan taco, fried Oreos, and then a sweater from buffalo exchange. Didn't expect all that. The music was great too, and plenty of room for everyone in the crowd! Totally a fun music festival experience.

Eargasm Overload. What-ta weekend! The MMMF team really out did themselves this year! The lineup, the seating, the food, the beer...everything was perfect. The layout was ideal, as it provided viewers the opportunity to be close enough to see the sweat drip from the foreheads of the artists or spread out across a blanket on the grass depending on preference. There really wasn't a bad seat in the house and the downtown location couldn't have been better.I'm thrilled to have such a fantastic festival right in our own back yard and can't wait to see where it goes from here. If you haven't been, definitely add it to your list. All of your senses, along with the wonderful charities this event benefits will be mighty grateful you did. Cheers!

Scottsdale is dumb. McDowell Mountain Music Festival use to be in Scottsdale and by the time it was relegated to a Petsmart Parking Lot, it was time to move on. This year the festival was held downtown at a local park and has become one of the best music festivals metro Phoenix has ever seen. The three day festival had a different undefined theme daily and fell on spring break. Bands like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes have played the festival for years. Check out a reasonably priced, fabulous festival worth every penny.

It hasn't been the same since they moved from McDowell Mountain. I don't know who the organizers are or who selects the music lineup but they sure haven't lived up to the past.

I have been to other music festivals.. and i love that M3F is for charity and many of the people working the event are volunteering... but i have never been to a music festival so disorganized. The line for the entrance was hours long, there was only one tent for cocktails which led to insane lines, bartenders looked like they have never worked as a bartender before in their life which contributed to the long lines... I want a good music festival in AZ so badly but the first day was embarrassing :/

This festival is a hidden gem! Wonderful staff working the event. Very kind people that attend. I was able to see my favorite DJ first row and there was no pushing. 10/10 would recommend.
