In the area, we decided to stop in for lunch during the week. They offer lunch specials from 11-2 Monday through Friday.We were promptly seated and chips and plenty of salsa was provided. We ordered the enchilada lunch, served with rice and beans. Very good. All total, our meal was $30 for two, including two drinks.Good food, service, nice decor and good prices. Recommend.

We heard how good this place is, so we thought we'd give it a try. We went when it wasn't busy, but it was happy hour as well. We got a seat right away. The place is clean and very cute. We got our drinks right away. I got the happy hour margarita and it was mostly lime juice. I barely tasted any tequila. I know it depends on the person who makes it. We got our appetizer pretty fast. We got the famous cheese crisps and it was pretty good. Cheesy and crispy. Myself and my family loved it. Our food was very good as well. Everything was delicious. You get good amount of food, that we took leftovers home. Our waiter was amazing, so sweet and kept our table clear and drinks full. Over all, this place is amazing and we will deliver come back again.

Oof. You know it was bad time when it prompts you to open Yelp after what seems like years to write a review. We just moved into the area and were eager to try a new spot. This is really close to our new home so we had hoped we could become regulars, however, this will definitely be our last time here. Our server was terrible. She was told she had us as a table 4 times and it took her 15 mins to check on us and take our order. She didn't even apologize, offer a smile, nothing. Her customer service was heinous. After waiting 15 mins to get our orders taken, it took another 10 minutes for drinks to come out... and if you guessed one of our drinks came out wrong, you are absolutely correct! And still, no apology. She didn't even bring out our water either and told us she would be back with those. We waited and waited and no water, no appetizer, nothing. We ended up leaving. This whole ordeal lasted almost 45 minutes. With so many great restaurants in the area, save yourself from wasting your time and take your money elsewhere. This place is trash.This one star is Yelp being generous.

Their food was good for family style restaurant. They were busy, their service was super friendly but really slow, we were there for little over 2hrs dining for family of 4. Even when it was time to pay the bill that took at least 20min to get that processed and go. The layout is very open, for those that prefer booths for more privacy, beware to sit in the open with the crowd.

We came here on a Friday night around 6 pm and had a 40 minute wait for our party of three. Ironically, the chips didn't have enough salt but the beans and enchiladas were too salty. The flavor and texture of the rice was severely lacking and not worth eating. The black beans were mediocre. The salsa was great and my wife enjoyed her taco salad. Our waitress was professional even when the chef messed up our order. The sound level was high which made it hard to have a conversation. They do not offer a military discount. It has been years since I have dined at a Macayo's and I don't plan to come back soon.

Where to start. Short story is waited an hour and 12 minutes from time of ordering and still didn't have food. In a restaurant half empty at 3pm. They still hadn't even started it even though was told 25 minutes before that point that it would be out in a few minutes. Saw 1 table order at same time, eat and leave while still no food. A table of 8 seated 45 to 50 minutes after us was eating while still no food for us. Even brought the wrong beer and overcharged for it. Left starving and went to Nandos. Macayos Queen Creek has been open long enough to have the kinks worked out.Avoid unless like disappointment.

Average food with incredibly SLIOOOWWWW SERVICE. Not even half filled with customers. They need to hire waitresses and cooks. I expect them to go belly up in a few more months.

Food and drinks are very good here! I love to go during Happy Hour as the prices are very reasonable. I would give this place 4 stars, but I had to knock off 1 for service. They are very slow to take orders and bring out the food. Every time I've gone, they've forgotten an item.

Went for Happy Hour on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant itself is very clean and decorated nicely. The drinks were great. The margaritas had a great flavor, and the prices for the drinks were even better. Our server was nice, but that's about it. Took a long time to be seated and to get our food and drinks. They forgot to give us utensils and napkins. The food itself was average, and they missed meat on one order and a side for the other order. I'm hoping it's because it's a fairly new location, but I was bummed for my first experience there. Hope to see things change.

I've been there 3 times. Great food, service and ambiance. BUT, be careful and ask questions about listed prices. On my third visit, my wife and I paid $10 more than what we thought. The Tuesday Taco special list $3 per taco. Sides are listed as 0.99 for beans, rice, and tortilla soup. We were charged 2.99 for each of beans and rice and 4.99 for the small cup of the soup. It is not clear and they don't tell you that the 0.99 price for the sides only applies if you order the taco at their regular price, not the "$3 Taco Tuesday" special. On my second occasion, I came in with my special mug which I purchased at my first visit because they would fill it for $3 anytime I returned with it. So I ended up paying $11 because I didn't specify the "house" margarita.It good enough to return again but, I think I will ask what the charge will be AS ordered.
