Each time I come here I enjoy it more & more & try something different, so tonight it was a 2 item combo plate consisting of a pork taco, guacamole tostada, rice, & beans with a raspberry iced tea to drink. Very tasty! My waitress was Michelle & she was awesome & so nice! It was busy but not loud! Perfect ambiance for a Taco Tuesday!

My wife and I were wanting to try a different Mexican restaurant and we decided to drive down Apache Trail and go to Los Gringos Locos. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga. Enchiladas style. The enchiladas sauce was a different taste than what I am used to and it had a little spicy taste to it. The chicken was moist and tasted good, as did the rice. My wife ordered the Veggie Pizza and it was loaded with toppings and my wife said it tasted great. To get to this restaurant you have to drive through Apache Junction and the restaurant is on the right so it's a little drive if you don't live in the far east valley. There's a separate dining area from the bar side, there's also an outdoor dining section. All in all we will come back.

Starts out with our hostess & server in Costume for our lunchtime visit (We stopped in on Halloween, and all staff were dressed for Dia de los Muertos. Gorgeous Makeup and accessories! My 4yr old grandson was very taken with the makeup and she was so polite & sweet to him the entire visit! Even served his food a bit sooner than myself and the other 2 Adults I was dining with. He wanted the carnitas street tacos, rice, bean burrito, and i was a bit worried he wouldn't eat it all, so we shared and everything was fresh, and so delicious! My husband had the 3 cheese enchiladas and they were huge! My Mother in Law had the burrito w a side of rice, and honestly i had THE BEST spanish rice EVER. And believe me at nearly 60 yrs old, living a few hrs from the AZ/MEX border, I've probably eaten POUNDS AND POUNDS of the stuff. I would literally JUST eat the rice in a huge bowl all by itself! To end our meal, our server brought my grandson his first piece of Halloween candy for this year! His eyes nearly popped out of his head!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I got food poisoning from this place and the food was not worth it at all. Food almost took 40 minutes to get out as well. Terrible experience.

Food was wonderful! Prices were great! The waitress started out very well, yet when she got busy, refused help from other staff members. At that point she was not thinking of the customers. There is a wall dedicated to 9/11 and it's beautiful.

The food was okay, basic mexican food. I was completely disappointed in the service. Our food took over a half an hour before it was delivered to our table by a surly guy who didn't say one word to us. Our server took our order then disappeared, (most of the time she was sitting at a table with a customer, carrying on a lively conversation). The food delivery guy was passing our table, so we asked him for more salsa - he didn't even acknowledge that he heard us - he just walked back by our table and dropped a full salsa bowl into our almost empty one, splashing salsa everywhere. he didn't even look as he scurried by. Our waitress only checked back with us once, after we were all done eating. Not impressed. This place always seems to be busy, most likely due to the limited eating options in Apache Junction. Next time, we will drive a bit to go to a mexican restaurant that has good food AND good service!
