I should have known when the place was empty that it wood not be good. Gross! I had two bites of my enchiladas and instantly got grossed out. They were drenched in the red sauce with a large amount of grease/oil. There was also an odd smell to the chicken. Scared that I'd get ill - I tossed the food out

Got two carnitas burritos for wife and I. Wife's first bite, good sized piece of fat. We've eaten over 100 carnitas burritos, and almost all had very little to no fat. My burrito had good amount of fat, it's just gross!!!! The carnitas are cut into very small pieces, not shredded like in most cases. Carnitas flavor was really lacking. Not very good burrito. Wife wanted tortilla chips/salsa...$6... that's nuts, I'm from California and I've never spent more than $4 for a bag of tortilla chips and salsa...with all the Mexican restaurants in the area, we won't be returning.

I moved to the area recently and stopped by to try this family owned place. It was wonderful!! The restaurant was really clean and organized. It smelled wonderful too! I've only tried the rice and birria taco. The birria is made with beef and was really, really flavourful. The rice was my favorite! It didn't have a lot of color so I was skeptical but omg it's the best Mexican rice I've ever had! It was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of seasoning. I will definitely order the rice again & again!!

I recently started coming here for their awesome Taco Tuesday special. Their food is so good that I keep going back . I'm hooked on their 2 taco plate with rice and beans. Their shredded beef is the bomb and consistently good. They have a little salsa bar with carrots and chilies and out of this world cucumbers. I always get the Mango drink to wash it all down with . I'm hooked and so happy I finally tried this hidden gem of a restaurant . They also have a drive thru! Service is always friendly and they're quick to greet you when you come in the door . They have a good sized clean, welcoming dining area that is appropriately decorated for the season. Daily specials rock !

Los Betos is the best. I relocated from Scottsdale, AZ to Austin, TX and missed Los Betos for years... and when I moved back I was overjoyed to see that they had an East Valley location in Mesa. I make the trip over to them atleast once a month. Best California burrito in Arizona - and so much better quality than the 'bertos around the Valley!

This place is great it's the one place that has breakfast burritos that include potatoes in all their burritos every other location like Filiberto's Eberto's all the Gilberto's you have to pay $1.50 or extra to get things you want like $2..7 for extra cheese.

My husband would rate this a 5. Me a 2. This is the compromise. I got the hard taco enchilada combo. Hardly any meat no flavor. The beans were terrible. My husband got the pollo asada burrito. We are tack shop regulars. He said it was literally the best burrito he's ever had. Full of meat. Not too greasy. Fresh and delicious.

We got Taco combos and chili rellenos. The food wasn't bad, just rather flavorless. It was all in some serious need of some seasoning. Horchata was EXCELLENT however. Service was quick and attentive but not very friendly. Kinda felt unwelcome there. This was our second time here, It'll be our last. 3 stars is generous as I reserve 2 for places with problems. This place did nothing wrong, just nothing right either.
