I have been going to personal training at Lifestyles Fitness for a year now and it is so rewarding! I am extremely happy with the results, friendships, education, and experience I have gained during my time at Lifestyles Fitness. I heard about Lifestyles from Drew, one of the trainers. I worked with Drew years ago at another gym and he was one of the best trainers I had ever worked with. Once I heard about Lifestyles, it was a no brainer, my husband and I wasted no time to sign up. We started over a year ago and go twice per week. This gives us a chance to train with both Drew and Mark. In just 12 months I have lost 35 pounds with 25 of that being fat and 7% body fat. I have decreased my waist by 7.5 inches, hips by 3.5 inches, bicep by 1.5 inches, and thigh by 2 inches.Approximately once a month, we do a check-in to take measurements in order to track our progress. They understand that not everyone is built the same or has the same goals and they help you create realistic fitness goals that tailors to what YOU want and need. Each trainer has a different coaching style which helps to keep it fresh and interesting every time. Each week there is a new 'theme' that they build off of to customize each workout to you for every session. They both teach the basics and focus on form so that bad habits aren't learned and as soon as form is mastered then they challenge limits by increasing weight, adding complexity, or changing intensity levels. They have also taught us about different muscles and how to target them with different exercises. Personally, I have a few injuries and both trainers have been very mindful by asking about my comfort level so that they can personalize my workouts by modifying the exercises. Both of the trainers are down-to-earth, easy to get along with, and personable. They are both physically active in their personal lives and they practice what they preach. At Lifestyles they are very flexible to accommodate our ever-changing work week schedule needs and they are always good at responding quickly to modify appointment times. The gym has ample space with equipment both inside and outside as well as a zero-judgment, supportive and encouraging feel. They have equipment that big gyms don't usually have including a vibration plate which always provides a good start and end to the workout for engaging and loosening all your muscles. Their rates are reasonable and affordable. For the value and connections we have made here, I can't imagine training with anyone else.If you are looking for a personal trainer then give them a chance and I'm sure you'll walk away feeling happy and accomplished.

Picture it: Super Bowl Sunday, this year. I've decided not to go to a party because I feel like it will get in the way of me stuffing more and more food in my mouth while watching my Broncos lose. Well, first of all, they won! Second of all, when it comes to a personal Super Bowl Party, let's face it: there are no winners.Steak. Crab legs. Italian bread. Jalapeño potato chips. Cheese. Chocolate. Sour Patch Kids.I woke up the next day and decided it was time to start eating better and to take my fat ass to the gym, but I didn't really believe it would work. I'd been to many gyms, many times, and I'm not great at motivating myself (unless it's about eating candy--then I'm pretty unstoppable). The point is that I started to change my diet, and by the end of the month I found Mark and Lifestyles Fitness Personal Training. I liked Mark's manner, and I decided to go for it. There are some details that you don't need to know here about a gallbladder attack and surgery and stuff like that. Really all that did was slow me down. It did not stop me. Let me share with you what has changed from my intake in late February, to my test in early June:Waist: from 40" to 35.5"Weight: from 199.6 to 184.4Body fat: from 23.6% to 16.0%Lost: 18 lbs of fatGained: 3 lbs of muscleMy cardio is similarly off-the-charts improved. When I started working with Mark, Drew and Keith, I hated it and my pulse would climb to 160-170 in a hurry and it would take forever to go down. I had to do very little, because I couldn't do much.Today I did a full workout and while it was challenging, I loved the challenge. I still have a long way to go in terms of cardio health, and I'm not exactly a pinup model yet, but I'm moving in the right direction and I love that. All three trainers have their own styles, and I like them all very much. They keep things interesting. And they're all really nice guys who will give you the attention you need. And they'll help you with food! Suffice it to say I didn't get here eating Sour Patch Kids.I strongly recommend these guys. If you're ready for change, they can help!

I totally forgot to update but my kettle bell classes have came and went. They were pretty hardcore and a great workout. After the classes ended, my wife and I bought several personal training sessions with Mark/Lynn. They are a bit pricey but the workouts are pretty solid.I am unable to workout there anymore but my wife still goes a few times per week and seems to love it.This is definitely a great place to get your workout on and I just wish I lived closer. Anyway, I highly recommend Lifestyles.

Last year, I was suffering from an extremely tight lower back, weak core, and weak me, which lead to a month of agonizing pain and barely being able to walk. I've never been hit by a bus before, but I'm sure that's what I was feeling like. I had constant pain in my lower back, and when sitting, my sciatica would flair up sending sharp pains down to my toes. Anyway, I went to Mark since I have heard great things about him, they were correct. They helped with stretching out the muscles while strengthening at the same time and within a month, I was pain free. I continued with them for the 9 months and have seen great results. I've lost 14lbs, 3% body fat, 3 inches on my waist, and I feel great. I've gone from benching 25 lbs dumbbells to 60 lbs, being able to do pull ups, and leg pressing almost 500 lbs. I would be a lot farther on my weight loss if I would have cut the copious amounts of delicious beer and terrible food out earlier in my training, but I couldn't say no to that sweet Fresh Squeezed IPA and massive burgers. Once I did, the changes really started to take shape. I started at 3 times a week for 45 minutes, which was perfect for building a routine and getting back into shape. The greatest thing about Mark is his passion to helping you achieve your goals. I haven't met another trainer nearly as dedicated as him. He does have a couple other trainers that he works with and they are top notch. In addition, he schedules you so that you get the attention you need to improve your form and have a fun time working out. If you are ready to get in shape or need help with injuries then I recommending giving him a call, getting an assessment, and if all is good then getting started.

I have been coming here for a few months and I love it! I originally looked into personal trainers for my knee troubles and to get fit, and Mark and Drew have helped tremendously. They both really know what they are doing. Every workout is different and I always leave my session feeling like I have accomplished a good workout for the day. I go to ASU, and it is super convenient for me because they are always super flexible with my schedule. The gym has kettlebells, weights, machines, and tires to drag outside. Right away, I was sent some helpful food tips and best things to buy at grocery stores! I am always so motivated and would recommend anyone to try lifestyles.

3rd time is a charm! I have worked with 3 trainers in the Chandler area and Mark is the only one that I would recommend to my friends and family. In fact, I have 2 other friends that also train with him now. He knows his stuff, and the bottom line is that he is the only one that as delivered the results. If you are serious about getting in shape, you should see Mark. Thanks!

I am just finishing up a 6 month program at Lifestyles Personal Training, and I can say the experience far exceeded my expectations! Mark and Drew really honed in on what I wanted to accomplish with my fitness goals and helped me push towards them fast and had a ton of fun along the way. From the first initial body assessment to the insane library of nutritional information I was given and all the way down to the last workout, It has been the best "gym" experience I have had. Every workout is different and I always leave my session feeling like I have accomplished a good workout. They are incredibly accommodating with scheduling, always a no hassle change when life gets crazy. Something I noticed that was different from many gyms and trainers I have worked with, THE ENVIRONMENT. Mark and Drew are always encouraging and positive. Aside from the pain of pushing your muscles, you will look forward to every workout and it will quickly become part of your daily routine that you won't wan't to miss. I packed on about 12 lbs of of muscle and have reshaped my body into something I enjoy looking at in the mirror. I can't recommend Lifestyles enough, mention my name and Mark will add more weight to any workout. lol. ;-)

Ah, I have so many good things to say about this gym!! I've been seeing Drew here for a year now and it's been hands-down the best training experience I've ever had. Both Mark and Drew are great. We started with a fitness analysis to get a baseline, which was actually really fun. We also talked about my goals and timeline for them. Then I started seeing Drew three times a week for 45 minutes each session. We do something different each time, which is why I like it. It's not just 3 sets of 10 of exercise A, B, and then C. Drew & Mark have so much knowledge that they put you through your paces with tons of different exercises to work various muscle groups. I've done movements (with & without weights) that I never thought I'd be able to do. The space is clean, totally friendly and non-intimidating, easy to get to, easy to park. I love going here to stay fit, and I'm thrilled with the results, too. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

I've been through so many attempts to better my fitness, my diet, and my lifestyle, none really worked too well. I started at Lifestyles about two and a half years ago with Mark and Drew and haven't looked back since! I've lost 60 pounds and I know how to train better too. In general I am more fit now than I ever was then, and I just feel so much better. To be honest half the reason I go are because of Mark and Drew, they're such professional but friendly people, it's much more fun and it makes training feel a lot less awkward. I know when I go to the gym I always feel self conscious to some degree, but there are only a few people in at a time and more important Mark and Drew really make it so much easier. I definitely DEFINITELY recommend this place!

I have been going to train with Marc for about 4 months and have had great results. Marc's tailored approach to training is what has separated him from other trainers I have used. Each week we change up the theme to our workouts which always keeps it fresh. I would refer beginners or advanced athletes to lifestyle because his people first approach tied with his extensive background makes me confident in his ability to put together a challenging program for all.
