Lena's Events

Lena's flowers and catering was a miracle after going through one of the vendors that the venue preferred. That's was a nightmare. I came in, sat with her for an hour and a half. She knows her flowers and had examples of many different roses etc. to took at for my wedding. So far so good, when my wedding happens and see all the product, will do updates and pics! Also, she does NOT charge you an arm and a leg (3000k) for what is needed for a wedding. UPDATEWell all I can say was that I was extremely disappointed with what I received on my wedding day. Pictures weren't even taken because 1 hour prior to my ceremony, my aunt who is a florist (came from out of country to attend my wedding) rushed to tear apart my bouquet and put fresh roses in them. The roses looked old and had been sitting there for days. It's when the roses start turning color and the texture is crusty. Went from 5 stars to 1. Customer service is awesome but the product received was extremely poor.

I would not recommend this place for flowers or catering, because I did not have a great experience with them. I barely had an okay experience with them. I got married in October and met with Lena months before to work out details and pricing of what I wanted/needed. We left feeling happy. After a few days go by with no email or call from her about a contract, I reached out by email asking how to pay. A few weeks go by and still nothing. I emailed again. With how busy I was with planning and work, I chalked it up to 'oh, she'll reach out by October'. It was a mistake on my part to wait and trust that this company would be professional and reach out to me. Three weeks before my wedding I call and end up being put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. I call back and was apologized to, told that while they did have my paperwork they had to figure out if they could even get all the things I ordered, and that they'd call me back. Hours go by with no phone call back. My friend got angry as I was complaining to him and he asked for their number. He politely yet sternly demanded to know what was going on with my paperwork. He was told that since I never put a down payment or deposit or signed a contract that they assumed I didn't want their services. I was NEVER given a contract to sign nor asked to put a deposit down. Their excuse was that they didn't have any contact information from me. We emailed plenty of times prior to our meeting! How did they not have my contact information? They didn't reach out to me at all to figure anything out even though they had my paperwork for months. Anyway, Athena (who was very nice and helpful after my friend talked to her; she gets five stars for dealing with him) went over my paperwork with me and everything I needed and said she'd send over a contract that I had to pay upfront. At this point, I didn't have much of a choice but to go with this company as no other place could get me all the things I needed on such short notice. I paid the contract, which was $40 more than what I was first quoted with Lena. On to my wedding day, my friend set up for me. I was never told that the company did not offer set up services! The only thing they did was drop off all my flowers, set up some garland vines, and drop off the china. The china! I didn't find out until after, but my friend had to scrub clean all the plates and water glasses because they were so dusty and still had stuck on food from a previous service! I also ordered ten black candle sticks to use as decorations and no one told my friend about it, so she didn't use them. I'm glad she didn't because they still had goodwill stickers, dust, and candle wax on them! While my flowers and bouquet were pretty, they weren't gorgeous. My bouquet could have been fuller with different flowers and it kept falling apart! My tossing bouquet completely fell apart right as I tossed it. Please, save yourself the trouble and find another florist/catering service!

UPDATE: YOU CAN STOP CONTACTING ME AND MY FRIEND NOW!YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO DO GOOD BUSINESS WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED. THIS IS BORDERING ON HARASSMENT. Absolutely the worst experience ever. My friend had just lost someone very near and dear to her so i thought i would order her a beautiful flower arrangement. What was delivered was an embarrassment to me and should have been tot he owners of this shop. I paid 91 dollars for a 20 dollar arrangement and they would have gotten away with it if she would not have sent me a picture. Now my friend that is dealing with a loss has to deal with this "business" calling to collect said flowers and coming back to her home to get them. I would not ever do business with this place as they have no compassion or integrity. The first photo is what i ordered. The second is what was received.. Awesome! They were fantastic in terms of communication, beautiful supplies and timeliness. The only reason for the 4 stars was because they forgot to put our table numbers out for our wedding but other than that they were amazing! They had tons of options in terms of decor and they were flexible in terms of following your vision for the day!

The Ladies here were fanatic! They put together lovely arrangements for my Mother in-law and Grandma. Which they were very excited about. And truly loved their flowers. The Courier was very pleasant. Thank you again Ladies for helping me Celebrate her Birthday even though we could be there.

Lena's was AMAZING for my moms 70th bday party. Granted, we just needed a few tables, chairs, table clothes and a couple gals to cater but they treated us as if we were doing a large wedding or party. Great customer service, excellent caterers!!!!

I hired Lena's for tables and place settings for a wedding in PineTop. The price was unbeatable and they came in and set everything up quickly. For them to travel that far and then set it all up so I didn't have to do the work was amazing. Her team was professional and friendly. I will definitely recommend them and use them any time I have rental needs.

They were amazing and responsive! The receiving end was so happy and don't hesitate to use this company it is worth it !

I want to start out by saying if I could give 6 stars to this business I would. I tried ordering flowers from another business that said they could do same-day delivery only to be told hours later that they would just deliver the next day. Obviously, I felt this is unacceptable and canceled my order. I reached out to Lena's flowers and catering and the young lady that I spoke to was very helpful in putting an arrangement together helping me with a card and getting those flowers delivered only a couple hours later. The bouquet was beautiful and very tastefully put together. I called later to thank them, and found out that the young lady that helped me was Erica the owners daughter, she provided amazing customer service and hospitality throughout this process. I highly recommend this business to anyone.

I heard of Lena's through the venue coordinator at Noah's and I'm glad I took her advice. The employees at Lena's were professional and efficient. I rented dinnerware, a boxwood backdrop, and hired 3 servers for an engagement party. I would definitely consider using their services for the wedding. Thanks again!
