La Casita Cafe

Saturday night dinner with friends at La Casita Cafe in Globe, AZ. First time here. Chips and salsa were good, they brought out red and green chili and it was even better.Got schooled on the difference between a Cheese Quesadilla and a Cheese Crisp in Globe. We then ordered a couple of cheese crisps with the red and green chili Christmas Tree Style from New Mexico.Also had a burrito with the red and green chili. It was all good. Prices were very reasonable. Service was ok. All good here. Good family restaurant!

In my opinion, this is the best Mexican food anywhere. It is the best of Globe-Miami for sure. The red chile is so perfect. Tender, spicy, and always fresh. The enchilada sauce is so good I could drink it. The beans are so flavorful and rich.I would give them 5 stars, but they are very uptight about asking for more hot sauce with to go orders. I drop around $150 to $200 here a month on to-go orders and they want to charge me extra to get just a little more hot sauce. The containers they do provide are only half full and they come around to the tables and scoop up the bottles off your table before you can top off your to-go container.I understand the concept of food cost, but come on... don't lose a great customer over 50 cents worth of hot sauce...

Outstanding food. Best burro/burrito I think I've had. I got the machaca chimi with beans in it, topped with green sauce. It was fantastic. Husband got the relleno burro, with beans inside and green sauce on top and it was also fantastic. Kiddo got the meatball soup dish. It was huge and delicious, definitely great for the price. Service was also great. Highly recommend this place.

Food is good! Service was bad the evening we went in..... two waitresses argue over who's taking our order....we were a party of 4, not a huge party. Took forever for the young waitress to even acknowledge our table, take our order and then deliver our food and drinks. Food was delivered in pieces.... One of our guests food was finally brought out by the cook......And we had no silverware nor napkins..... trying to flag down any staff for a fork became a chore! Our waitress never came by to check on us and we had to ask the cashier for our ticket. The sad part is that the restaurant was not even busy..... we have planned on giving the place another try and hopefully we will have a different waitress.....

The sign says 'seat yourself' because this place is busy. That should clue you in on how good the food is here. Not only is the food authentic the staff is incredible - they work as a team unit. Seriously. Don't let a little Spanish rice on the floor make you change your mind about eating here. This restaurant is Excellent!

Well, i learned by eating at this fine establishment that pork is a vegetable!? We ordered food to go since they would not seat us despite being there an hour before closing. Not only was there pork in my "vegetarian" burrito but they forgot to give us our side of rice and a tamale a la carte, which we did pay for.

We weren't impressed with the service at all. No refills, never received the guac & sour cream. I never got a napkin. At the end we didn't even know that we were supposed to pay at the front because our waiter never came back. I had the enchilada and taco. Both were really good.

Busy busy during Saturday lunch time.. Good was pretty good... Service was good.. Had menudo.. Not the best but it was good.. Ordered some other dishes and they were good.Ask for the extra spicy salsa.. You pay little extra but it is very good.. Little spicy too

I asked the waitress if they serve margaritas. She said "Yes." The drink I got was colorless, which I thought was odd. It was a horrible, bitter drink- I couldn't finish it. I later realized I was probably served a ranch water instead of a margarita.

Great service, yummy food, lots of locals and Mexican ambiance!In town from another Az mining town - Clarkdale. I had the green chili pork burrito enchilada style and my husband had the same with chicken. Outstanding!
