L.A. Roots

We've been getting a lot of taco trucks at work lately, so I can't say that I was especially excited to try L.A. Roots. They truly exceeded my expectations. Our order came up quickly, despite the fact that they were pretty busy. I ordered the Hornado tacos, and they were delicious. There was a generous amount of tasty, tender pork on each of the three tacos. The salsa had just the right amount of heat and the pickled onions added a nice crunch. The tacos were topped with cilantro & cotija cheese, all wonderful. My friend ordered the Saltado tacos and said they were absolutely delcious as well and stuffed full of meat! We will be back!

Tried these guys out at Food Truck Friday West. LOVED it! My fiancé and I got a few different things so we were able to sample. But my favorite was the Gaucho steak tacos. The Inca chicken tacos were delish and my fiancé loved the Pork hornado sandwich. All of the flavors were good and the food was super fresh.

3 stars is being generous. No Beans! Really??? Then the rice bowls ran out. Pork was dry and tasteless. Wrap was not warm. Carne Asada was just ok. I'm talking myself into a 2 star but the guy was quick and friendly.

This place is fantastic. Staff is friendly and you get a lot of food for your money. Very pleased !!

Gaucho tacos are simply the best!!! Track this truck on social media and track em down, definitely worth your time!
