I saw an ad on IG and wanted to try out this new placeMy group of 4 came at 12:15 and had a table immediately without waiting. Just 15 minutes later, there is a long line and until when we finish dining, people are still waiting. You can either order on app or someone will show up to take order. Then you pay at the cashier. What I really like is the fast and friendly service. Water came in jugs with cups. They were refilled immediately when jug became empty. Our table has jugs. I ordered an intestine dry pot 5/5. If you ask for rice then rice is free! My dry pot comes with many ingredients and I couldn't finish it even though that was my main meal. I also had mushroom and chicken steamed dumplings. They were soft and juicy 5/5.My table ordered the rest of the meals. Everything was so cheap. Six large steam buns cost $14. I took home the dry pot. My friends took home dan dan noodles, pot stickers and steamed buns. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back in the future.

Five of us checked out KOFU Dumplings House on Saturday night since we heard it was their soft opening. We got there around 6 PM, and luckily, it only took about 10 minutes to get a table. The place is bright and roomy, with a nice setup. They've got two little semi-private areas for bigger groups, along with a mix of regular and high tables, which is cool.We kept it simple this time and ordered some appetizers, dumplings, and noodles. Most of the food was really good! But we weren't big fans of the soup dumplings or the wonton noodles--they didn't really hit the spot for us. Everything else was delicious, though. The only downside was that we all felt super thirsty afterward, which was kind of a bummer. We might come back to try other dishes, but hopefully, that "thirsty" feeling won't happen again.

Walk in and wait behind the large order screen to be seated ( I believe the screen is for orders placed for take out in the restaurant). We waited maybe 5 minutes on a Thursday night at 6:30pm to be seated for 3 people. Server took a little while to come to us to order, but we did get water very quickly! I think you can order through QR code at the table, but as soon as we started to check that out the waiter came by. We ordered 3 apps (cucumber salad, ox tail & beef, and pig ears). These are all COLD and arrive on ONE PLATE. Nobody told us the apps would be piled on top of each other, so we sat waiting for the rest to come out for a bit until that was clarified. The cucumbers were okay, the pig ears were just a texture thing - nobody really liked them (I thought they were going to be fried). The oxtail and beef was really good. The signature buns kind of fell apart while you ate them and were hard to keep the filling inside. I've had better buns. The mongolian beef was not hot at all (despite having the one chili symbol next to it). However, it was amazing! The chili dumplings were not spicy at all, either. They were actually slightly sweet. These also fell apart and were boiled to the point you couldn't really pick them up with chopsticks. However, they tasted really good - just wanted them to be spicy! Not pictured, we ordered the beef noodle soup and received a large pot of complimentary white rice. Both were great! One friend thought there was too much 5 spice seasoning in the soup broth, but the other two of us loved it. OVERALL: Would reorder the mongolian beef entree and oxtail & beef app. Would not reorder the signature buns or the pig ears app. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu! SERVICE: If you are a needy guest, you will suffer if it's busy or moderately busy. If you prefer to order, get your food, and have uninterrupted conversation with your table you will be perfectly fine. Props for the reusable plastic containers provided for leftovers!

I feel very very bad for the owner...so much money invested into great food but very poor customer service. You have to hire people who speak English well enough to communicate with their customers. Your workers have to understand the menu of the restaurant to provide recommendations...kinda hard when there is a huge language barrier amongst all employees here.We ordered a bunch of food and everything came out in weird time frames. The dumplings came out after we finished all of the main dishes which is strange...all of the Chinese restaurants I have been to in the past bring that out first. There was even an Asian woman who was sitting right next to us who was upset as well and was yelling at the employee in their native language.Please...please...please step into Din Tai Fung a restaurant out of California who is in the process of opening up a restaurant here in scottsdale soon ...learn how they run their business. It's pointless in wasting so much money in opening a restaurant in the food business and no one in the restaurant that can communicate in English.

Came here with a friend the other day.. and overall I want to say the food was avg.. nothing great but it wasn't bad either.. their wonton noodle soup was salty.. I did like their pan fried dumplings and the garlic cucumbers.. I probably won't make an effort to come back here though lol.

I visited Kofu Dumpling House excited to try a new place for Chinese food in town. Kofu specializes in food from Northeast China, so it's a bit different from some of the other Chinese food spots nearby. I'd recommend trying the Guo Bao Rou, which is a crispy, sweet pork dish. The serving sizes are pretty big here, and I ended up having to take leftovers of the Guo Bao Rou and the A choy home. The service was quick and friendly, and the new restaurant is clean. There's lots of parking so you shouldn't have any difficulty finding a spot. I wanted to order a couple of appetizers, but because I went late in the evening, they were out by the time I got there. Looking forward to trying more of their food my next visit!

Had to wait in a relatively short line to get in. Had a decent amount of seasoning & was clean. My favorite thing was probably the red chilli oil wontons! Good flavor to them. Potstickers and chicken were also decent. Wasn't a huge fan of the mungbean noodles but maybe I just don't like mungbean in general. Texture is too squishy/soft for me. The sesame sauce in it was decent tho!

Recommend: Yes, good place to try something outFood: I got take out so the food was good but not "omg I have to come back immediately". Service: they were nice. They offered me 10% discount for signing up for their membership. Ambiance: it's nice and cleanI was just passing by and saw this restaurant. I was intrigue. I didn't hear about this place was having their grand opening. Food overall wasn't terrible but I did take out so the food isn't as fresh vs dining in. The staff were really nice. I didn't try their dumplings but I did try their beef noodle soup and Chong Qing Chicken. But I don't think that's a good option for take out since it wasn't as crunchy. Overall food was good still. Not horrible. But I wasn't entirely overly impressed as well. But they did say they're still changing things around so the menu might change a bit. And I gotta go back to try their dumplings since it is a dumpling house lol.

Kofu Dumpling House is a new handmade dumpling and noodle spot in town, right in the (former) AZ International Marketplace plaza, that will satisfy your cravings. So glad to have another option in Mesa!Their appetizers all look fantastic -- you'll see them in the cooler as you walk in -- and the pig ears tasted fantastic. The mala sauce isn't spicy, but definitely adds a great flavor. The signature dumplings, which are filled with shrimp, pork, and chives, are also delicious with a great vinegary sauce. The dan dan noodles are tasty, but didn't have as much meat as you'd expect. It was mostly noodles and heavier on the peanut or sesame sauce, rather than the chili or soy. I'd recommend trying other noodles, but it was still enjoyable!Service is excellent and very friendly, and I appreciated the 10% off during their soft opening. Definitely worth a try!

After a great meal here yesterday, I return to try their dumplings. I tried to avoid the crushed cucumber and ordered the sliced spicy pig ears but it was sold out. So I had Sliced beef & tripe in chili sauce and Shredded bean curd. For dumplings, I ordered the Signature (pork, shrimp and chives). The hand rolled skin made them really tasty and the ingredients were fresh. This is my favorite Chinese eatery in town now. I am going to keep coming back to try more dishes in the future whenever I come back to Phoenix again.BTW, you get 10% if you sign up for their loyalty program!
