Kodo Sushi Bar

So happy this location opened near by! I enjoyed a cup of miso soup before the sushi rolls. My mom and I ordered the Havana roll (this one is spicy I was taken back by the kick), blue ocean roll, albacore roll, and a salmon avocado roll. I love that their rice is purple. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service is sooo good. We constantly had staff checking on us and asked how everything was. They have 2 outdoor patios and a spacious indoor space. The ambiance is great too!

We are fans of the original location and just recently tried their second location. It's a little closer to home. The service was excellent, sushi delicious and easy parking. Will definitely be returning soon

The location and service of this Sushi restaurant is awesome! We were greeted by such a friendly server, and got our drink orders right away. The water tasted strange. The next strange thing, was our Sushi order came out super fast.. like way too fast! All at once! I'm assuming they must pre make the rolls and have them ready to go... in fact, that's my next mention of disappointment, they did not taste fresh, definitely reminded me of the rolls you get in the grocery store. The spicy tuna was so minced and mushy, we could not eat it. The rolls are relatively expensive, if comparing to other sushi restaurants, that serve made to order rolls and better ingredients. This was a big miss for me. Won't be going back.

Solid 4 star. Great assortment of sushi rolls. We started out with gyozas..had two rolls I loved the Las Vegas roll. I didn't care much for the mango roll was kind of chewy. Yellowtail hamachi was very fresh and flavorful. Nice staff, chill atmosphere. Lots of TVs.We will be back soon!

I'm so happy they have a closer location to me, I love kodo. This is a bigger space then there other location. Nice bar and patio space. The service was great. And the food as always was fresh and reasonably priced. The salmon lovers roll was the bomb.

We tried three different rolls, the squid salad and the miso soup. Everything was excellent. The sushi was melt in your mouth quality. The rolls were tight and full of goodness- very minimal rice. We were provided a gift if spicy tuna that was awesome - tender, flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff was gracious and quick. There were three people rolling and plenty of servers. The menu are complete write in like ordering sushi. I also tried the Appletini which was very good with a very nice aroma of green apple. There is a full regular bar, a sit down sushi bar, and a dining area. The hosted greeted us with a smile and we were permitted to choose our seat. We will be back. So nice to have a quality sushi place so close.

Kodo is my favorite sushi restaurant in the valley. We were excited to see a new location a little closer to us. The interior is very hip and spacious! We went this time for my birthday and ordered the 5 nigiri + sashimi combo, chirashi bowl, and omakase. Everything was so delicious, generous slices of fish, all fresh. Service was kind as always. I even received a little birthday dessert.

This Kodo just opened up and it's officially a weekly spot for us, after tonight.All the rolls are made in this purple rice that's really good. The sushi chefs are surprisingly fast. The rolls are both delicious and not nearly as pricy as I'd expected. The service was air-tight too. Everything flew out, everything was seamlessly handled by like 8 different people who all seemed to be coordinated by bill belichick.They even gave us a complimentary appetizer. Wow. Everything about this place rules.

Another new sushi joint in the area. I love it! The ambiance was great. Good music in the background. Several TVs for news and sports. Great for night out with friends or even date night. The service was great. Staff were all very attentive and helpful. Timely with ordering and circling back to see if I had questions and checking in to see how things were. I'd definitely come back here. They have a great menu. Average priced for sushi. Their toro nigiri was absolutely my favorite! I also loved the kodo roll. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items.
