Kind Bean

This is the cutest little spot and is conveniently located a quick drive from our home! They have a ton of pastries, coffee drinks, and lots of cooked food items, as well! The staff was very friendly and my fiance and I both ordered hot food which was provided quickly for us (with options for dine in and take out)! I also enjoyed their 'Daily Tea' which was Fuzzy Peach (there was another option as well) alongside a Loaded Burrito with a side of green salsa.We will definitely be back to this cute spot!

Today was my first time trying the Kind Bean since COVID. I was excited to come try it out since I remember it being amazing. I got their peppermint latte and my friend got the Black Forest (which is a black cherry latte). While the coffee was not very strong, it tasted okay and the barista making the drinks was very friendly. What made me sad was a lack of a holiday menu. Coffee shops everywhere have these amazing menus that include fun holiday drinks--that wasn't the case here. The saving grace for this visit was the avocado toast which was delicious! 2 slices of toast with avocado, olive oil, and fresh lemon. The seating inside was nice and enjoyable!

We need more vegan coffee shops and bakeries across the Phoenix metro area!!!! The service at Kind Bean is consistent with the name. They are always kind, cheerful and helpful, and I love that there is a yummy vegan coffee shop with freshly baked goods near my parents' house in Chandler when I visit. I'm very particular about coffee, but theirs always hits just right! The inside is very cute, too, with comfortable seating! Support great local businesses!

Hubby and I always like to try out new coffee places and the Kind Bean was next on our list! It's a cute small cafe with tables where you can sit and do some work (most of these are two-seat tables only) or just read a book. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the barista. She was very kind and friendly, and gave us a "tour" of the menu. She talked through what they offer and told us that everything is made fresh on the daily - which made sense since they were nearly out of baked items despite it only being 12pm! I ordered a hot mint mocha, my husband got an iced caramel mocha with oat milk and we got the last lemon poppy seed scone to share. The drinks were good and I appreciate that the barista actually made my coffee extra hot like I asked for (which most people don't do despite my request). The lemon poppyseed scone was a bit on the drier side, so that would be my only downside. We enjoyed our overall experience and will definitely be back :)

I adore the service from this place, the staff is always, always so friendly. The food is amazing granted I have celiac an most things gluten free dont taste the same but the way they make their goodies is heavenly. The entire ambiance of the shop is so welcoming and warm.

Prior to moving to the Chandler area I stopped in at The Kind Bean once but they were all out of vegan treats. Defeated I vowed to try again next time I was in the area.I never tried again and coincidentally moved to Chandler but totally forgot about Kind Bean until it was brought up in a a local vegan group. Someone in one of the local vegan groups said to download their app and order online so I wouldn't miss out on anything the next time I decide to go.Loaded burrito - home fries, tofu scramble, American cheeze, smoky tempeh & pico. It was just ok not enough flavor for me. I had to add some seasoning to it.Strawberry vanilla latte - espresso, vanilla, & strawberries. Very tastyThe 3rd time I stopped in I got:Vanilla berry steamer - vanilla & strawberry purée with steamed coconut milk. Adding the coconut milk took it to the next level so good.Cinnamon spiral - It was ok nothing overly spectacular but not bad.Cherry turnover pie scone - scone filled with cherry jam, sugar crusted & drizzled with cherry glaze. I'm not a fan of scones but I know they're popular here so I wanted to try one. I was pleasantly surprised this one was really good and not dry like ones I've had in the past.Mixed berry muffin - seasonal berries & light sugar crust. It was soft, moist, and filled with so much yummy berries.

It was ok- went to coffee shop for some copper work and conversation with my wife but after we got our coffee we were told there was no WiFi - would be helpful to know ahead of time as almost every coffee shop I've been to has WiFi. There is a WiFi option but no password for public use. Coffee was ok but has to go someplace else to get work done. Staff was nice and the place seemed clean.

It was really good! I would make this a regular spot for myself since it's so close to home, but for avocado toast, a scone, and an iced tea, $22 is a steep breakfast! But the flavor was great (being that it's vegan) and the triple chocolate scone was soft and airy! *All vegan, scratch kitchen and the flavors are outstanding!

I've been wanting to try the Kind Bean for a while now and finally got a chance to back in May! Hubs and I were out running errands and needed breakfast. I looked through my saved Yelp Collections, and saw Kind Bean was nearby. Hubs stayed in the car to take a call, so I went in by myself. I was greeted right away. The space had ample seating indoor and out.The menu offers a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, breakfast items, pastries, and lunch. Everything is vegan. I needed a few minutes to look over the menu and the staff was patient with me. They also explained some of the popular items and answered my questions. I decided on an oat milk latte as well as two burritos for us: JoeBurrito and Loaded Burrito. Though the burritos were different from each other, they both had KIND tofu scramble and home fries. Pretty tasty and filling! Reasonably priced, too. The burritos were ~$10-11 each.Though I didn't indulge at the time, the pastries were very tempting. I was also impressed that they offer lunch items like lasagna, chili, chowder, and more. I will definitely be back for those!

The ladies that worked today really need to start paying attention. Got my order wrong twice so I just left with coffee I didn't want.
