Joe's Italian Ice

Joe's is a unique experience- yes, I said experience. As soon as you walk in the collection of mid-century odds and ends surrounds you. The counter staff is quick to greet and welcome you. With so many items to choose from, samples are a must. My wife and I tried several things before settling on our order. She got a multi flavored ice, and I got a sundae. Mine was huge! I was told that sundaes only come in large, and it was definitely not a disappointment! My wife loved her ice, but she said she should have gotten a small instead of a medium because hers was a very generous portion as well. The seating at normal height is all hard chairs. They also have padded stools al-la diner counter style available. If you have back or hip problems, I would recommend getting it to go. All-in-all I highly recommend for a great experience whether you eat in or take it with you. Be sure to try some different flavors. You are sure to find something you love!

We just had Joe's in Anaheim and we forgot how much we love it here. Came to the Arizona location where we live and it was cooler inside. Less flavor options but they were so nice and were giving out the raspberry tart samples for the flavor of the day. Loved our orders and can't wait to try different flavors. Defs will be back

Very cool place to get a treat! Decor is very fun and cool! The girl at the register was very helpful, and offered samples to help me make a decision. I decided on the Joelatti, it's your choice of soft serve ice cream with your choice of slush put together. I chose the wild cherry slush with vanilla soft serve. Was truly a flavorgasm, so good!! I can't wait to come back and try other menu items!

Great place for a sweet treat! Get a punch card and earn rewards. Conveniently located, easy in and out and even a drive through. I like to get the gelato with the ice and ice cream. The portions are very large. The staff are always friendly, and there is a variety of flavors daily. Best place on a summer Arizona day to cool off.

Passed by on a Saturday night and the place was so lively! So many people hanging around and enjoying ice cream. The place is so festively decorated for Christmas with inflatables. It was great for photos. We got the dole whip which really hit the spot. They gave us samples at the cashier so we could pick which flavors we wanted. They have so many unique flavors so definitely try everything you can. The pumpkin spice was the special and it was surprisingly good as an Italian ice. We really wanted to try the cookies and creme ice since it seemed the most popular but it sold out before we got through the line unfortunately. The cookies and creme ice cream was really good instead tho. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Cute spot!

Great as always! We went for my sons after the first day of kindergarten treat :) I wanted something refreshing without too much richness like most ice cream. This was perfect!This location is always so friendly and patient with all kiddos we bring around. Not the regular disengaged teenagers working here lol the entertainment inside is great.Spent $13 for a great experience and yummy flavors!!

Italian homemade ice verity of flavors. And daily made flavors today was a buttercream pecan which we ended up by ordering because it was so good. They have a drive thru incase you don't want to get down. Colorfully decorated inside and the ice cream which is custard smooth and silky.

I was introduced to this place by a friend a couple years ago. Now that I live closer to Joe's Italian Ice, I can see myself coming here more often. When I was a kid growing up in the Valley, there once was a Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour at this intersection. It's cool that Joe's Italian Ice is serving up their popular Philadelphia-style Italian Ice in the same spot that I grew up eating ice cream at. Joe's has so many flavors to choose from. I think I counted close to 60! Hard to say which one I think is the best because so far I have enjoyed all of the ones that I have ordered. I always get my Italian Ice with a "Joe Latti" - their soft serve ice cream that they ship from Pennsylvania. If you are a Dad, Joe's gives out an Italian ice to all the Dads for Fathers Day.Joe's Italian Ice opened their first location in California and then came to the Valley in 2014 to open this Tempe location. They are easy to spot because their building is painted with the colors of the Italian flag.

Wanted a sweet treat and everything was closed but not Joe's! I went ahead and got the bada bing bing cherry and it was very tasty. Nine out of 10 had chunks of cherries.Tristan was a very good help to .

OK people. I came in today The gentleman speaking English with Mexico accent..( maybe he the manager) he treated the customer like Discrimination .. he asked like.You have to at least 2 items up .. WtfToo bad at this place.And parking place.. not enough parking for customers.
