Jimmy G’s Salads & Pastas

"Why do we call them olives and not Greece's Pieces?" - @EmissaryKerry, Twitter/XMy friend had been telling me for months that Jimmy G's was his favorite place for salad. Time to time, he'd even send me a photo of what he was eating. While I gotta admit, every item he's ever shown me had looked delicious, I'm all about this drive-thru salad concept that's about half-a-mile away. Enough is enough though. I wanted to give Jimmy G's a shot and I'm sooo glad I did. What I've tried so far:Green Chile Chicken Mac ($12 - Mac & Cheese with cotija cheese crumbles and chicken): If you're a fan of green chile, your skirt will flip over this pasta dish. It's everything you want: Carbs, cheese, spice, and some protein.Roasted Veggie & Fruit Salad with Steak added($8 + $3 - Mixed greens, roasted brussel sprouts, broccoli, dried cranberries, walnuts, strawberries, and spinach tossed in a raspberry vinaigrette + steak): I added steak purely because that's how my friend orders it. I figured I'd give his favorite salad a try and it was good! Crisp fresh salad, a sweet vinaigrette, and the steak was cooked to perfection. And who doesn't love the tiny cabbage that is a brussel sprout?5 out of 5, I really enjoyed this place. And being that they're right next to my favorite post-workout smoothie shop, I think I'll be adding this place to the rotation. I definitely prefer the pasta over the salad though!

Based off the reviews we were really excited to try a few options off the menu, we ended up ordering two different mac and cheese dishes and a caprese salad. The salad was great, however the pastas lacked flavor, veggies were undercooked in one, and they were difficult to want to continue eating or come back to. Definitely will not be returning.

Jimmy Gs always offers great customer service, and delicious Mac n cheese, pastas, and unique salad dishes as well. My favorites are the bbq steak and bacon Mac n cheese, as well as the green hatch Chile Mac. It's creamy and cheesy, the flavors they have to offer combined with it are amazing !!

The salads here are so fresh and full of flavor. The ingredients are crisp, and the dressing is always perfectly balanced. It is light but filling, which makes it a great meal.

I've been coming here for almost a year now, and my love for this place hasn't faded one bit! The service? Top-notch. Jimmy? The legend himself. He's got the magic touch in the kitchen and the people skills to match.Now, I'm a creature of habit - if menu items had loyalty programs, the Green Chile Chicken Mac would have a gold card by now. It's a spicy, cheesy masterpiece that I just can't quit. I've dabbled with the Buffalo Chicken Mac and the BBQ Steak & Bacon Mac, and they're tasty! However, the Green Chile Chicken Mac is still the dish I'd take home to meet the parents. But hey, one day I might get adventurous and try something new... maybe.Jimmy and his crew are batting a thousand. Every visit is a home run - no surprises, no disappointments, just pure deliciousness every time.

Any salad can be made into a wrap. We got the Avocado Caesar chicken wrap. Fantastic. Very fresh, hearty portions. Came quickly, extremely friendly service. Met the owner Jimmy, awesome guy.Will definitely be back to try other options.

Had the Green Chili Chicken Mac. Creamy, mild spicy with tender chicken. I drowned it in Cholula, because I just love sauces...The Strawberry Basil Lemonade was really good. Excellent service really makes it a good visit.

As advertised....best Mac & Cheese around! The restaurant is super clean and the service was as friendly as can be. Love the decor of the place as well!I went with the Green Chile Chicken Mac. The chicken was in grilled small chunks and there was a perfect amount of chilies as well. BUT THE CHEESE....creamy and cheesy to the last bite! That was the highlight....loved it!On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm gonna hit this place up again for sure. I wanted to try a few other Mac's but these portions are big....my stomach can only pack in so much.

My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch at Jimmy G's today and it was delicious! My green chili mac was spicy, but sooooo yummy! My boyfriend's bbq chili was also super yummy. I love how creamy and cheesy the Mac and cheese is. It was the perfect comfort meal for us to enjoy. The restaurants a small shop, but has lots of seating for medium sized groups and smaller tables for couples. I was recommended my Mac and cheese from the owner of the restaurant, who was working the counter. He was super friendly and checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was okay. I would highly recommend trying this place out!

Me and my husband ordered the Taco Mac and the Buffalo Mac! The first words out of my husband's mouth after his first bite was "it's not the worst." That pretty much went on to describe our entire experience. The Taco Mac had nearly no tomatoes or lettuce. The ground beef was definitely torn up meatballs that tasted microwaved. There was hardly any flavor to comment on. The Buffalo Mac was a little underwhelming and kind of funky? It definitely needed more of the actual buffalo sauce. It was smothered in blue cheese rather than garnished.Service was polite, but chaotic. We watched lots of customers come back and point out various mistakes and missing pieces of their meal. One of the cook's pans actually caught on fire and made the air smell like smoke and look visibly hazy. Which was ironic because there was a bunch of firefighters ordering. Maybe it was just an off night for them?Anyways, we will not be back but it was definitely a funny experience.
