Jalapeño Dragon

First time at this new restaurant. The food was really good. I got the Dragon Roll which was baked so it took a little extra time. My wife is not a seafood fan so she got the Land Lubber roll. Both rolls were large, I think 12 pieces, and we ended up taking probably 8 pieces home. We really enjoyed both rolls. The Dragon Roll has a lot of flavor and just enough heat for you to feel the slight tingle. Half the people were getting the tacos and the other half we're trying the unique rolls. I look forward to trying the ceviche roll next time. Parking is a bit tight right in front of the restaurant so we parked on the residential street. Very good, we will be back.

Overall I was impressed with the sushi. I have tried others and typically the flavor doesn't change across the sushis but these did. The soy sauce was perfect too. Would totally recommend and will be going back to try their other items. Only con felt like their chipotle sauce needed a bit more chipotle flavored. Place was nice and clean too Customer service was also great too. Total price for 3 sushis, 2 surf n turf tacos and 1 tea less than $70

This place is now a restaurant! I never ate at the food truck, but had been anxiously watching and waiting for the dining room to open. You order at the counter and then listen for your name to be called. Staff seemed to be nice. Theyve fixed up this building with banquettes and tables and some decorative mirrors on the walls. There is patio seating out front. We ordered the birria taco, surf and turf taco (carne asada and shrimp), birria ramen, and yakemeshi bowl. Hubby said the birria taco was really good, but the carne asada could use more flavor. He loved the salsa! We all loved the yakemeshi bowl, and the birria ramen. There were quite a few customers, so I hope this place makes a go of it. We'll definitely be back.

I had lunch today with a few coworkers. I ordered the California Roll. I was not asked if I wanted it fried or natural. It took a very long time to get our orders. My sushi was ok, I think they were a bit cheap on the sauce they drizzled. My co-workers also thought the food they ordered was just ok.

We had a wonderful experience at Jalapeño Dragon in Mesa, AZ, located near the Mesa Mormon Temple. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the Carne Asada Tacos, which were delicious, while my wife had a Yakemeshi bowl. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and courteous, & someone was always available to clean the tables. The restaurant recently had its grand opening within the last two weeks, and the entire place has undergone a beautiful, extensive remodeling. The furniture and overall ambiance make it very inviting. Since their grand opening, we have been there twice. If you visit the temple or are in the area, it's a great spot to grab a bite. I've been a big fan of this food truck for over a year now. I love their food! The address is different. It is located on the north side of main st. between stapley and Mesa drive. I believe they're there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They may do catering on different days if you call. The food truck is red. There's lights, music and an indoor seating area. Everyone working has always been very kind and accommodating if you need something on the side or anything. They take call ahead orders too if you don't have time to wait for your order there. Also I've seen them on grub hub. I recommend jalapeño dragon to anyone who likes Mexican food / sushi / ramen. It's the best

10/10 must try! Food is amazing quality, so much flavor and large portions! Quesabirria, Mexican sushi, shrimp tacos, fried rice...all phenomenal Service is excellent, friendly, fast...you won't be disappointed!

I have never had Mexican sushi or ramen. It was amazing and the family that runs this place is so nice. The birria tacos were some of the best tacos I've had. We had the Vegas roll and the jalapeno dragon roll and they were delicious. I also had the shrimp tacos. Everything we had was fantastic!! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a unique Mexican dining experience or just simply having delicious food.

This place is sooo good! Only bad thing is I go every time in in the area... there's not a bad thing on the menu
