Jake’s Sweet Shoppe

Jake's sweet shop is a new place downtown Chandler. The parking is ok, just like any downtown places..parking is not the easiest. Great place for a date, cute decor, nice selection of sweets and pints to go! The presentation of these goodies is adorable, the taste is also a must try!

So this is a small, cutely decorated shop in the downtown Chandler area. Clean and fresh and was told their 1 year anniversary is in January 2025. They have a small patio out back with some chairs and tables...dog friendly!!!Was told they make all their ice cream in small batches as well as the baked goods of cookies and brownies. They have a case of pints of ice cream so you can grab and go or order something and they will put it together. We got a cookies and cream to go...$10 per pint. This was their first time making the frozen hot chocolate and they were excited because my wife ordered it. A shake with chocolate and marshmallow cream and it was topped with whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry. She loved it!I had the big brownie with some modifications...minus the whip cream and sprinkles. The brownie was warm and had that wonderful fudge taste...set off with vanilla ice cream! So so good!What a great little dessert shop when you are needing to soothe that sweet tooth! Thanks all...we will be back!

I have yet to find a decent ice cream shop in Downtown Chandler. And this one unfortunately is on my mediocre ice cream shops list as well. Yes, the decor and vibe is somewhat retro however, nothing too crazy to write home about. I sampled about 3 flavors before going with a scoop of their Halloween themed vanilla (just basic vanilla with green coloring) and their chocolate chip cookie dough. Their ice cream is made in-house which is cool however, the texture is a bit too icy and not creamy enough. I think you might be better off going to Cold Stone or dare I say, even Baskin Robbin's.Service is actually very friendly though.

Stopped in to check this sweet place out. Very fun colorful vibe. It was a little after 5pm when I visited and there were no other customers there, so it was pretty quiet. There were a couple of workers who were very friendly. It was also very clean on the inside.There were about 12 different flavors of ice cream. I was able to sample the salted caramel truffle which was extremely delicious. I thought I was going to sample another flavor, but just stuck with that one and ordered a junior cup of that one. There are the options for toppings, drizzles, and dips, but the flavor I chose was plenty.The junior cup size was perfect for me. Just enough to quench the craving of my sweet tooth.

It was sooo yummy that I had to dive into the banana split before I could get a picture. The service was fantastic and we had a good group of people with us. I highly recommend plus the shop has a cool retro vibe.

Love the vibrant and retro feel of this place. They have plenty of sweet treat options to pick from. Service was fast and friendly. Cute place to grab dessert.

This place is so fun-- a sweet tooth's heaven! There are shakes, sundaes, I've cream sandwiches, and of course scoops, too. All of the ice cream is made in house with fresh ingredients-- I could taste those strawberries in the strawberry ice cream. The cotton candy, cookies, and the cupcakes are all made in house, too!The place is so perfectly decorated. It is exactly what you would think a sweet shop should look like with checkerboard floors, vinyl chairs and lots of color. There are some games and you can purchase some giant candy, too.I had the Straw-very-licious Cheesecake Sundae, and my friend had the Vanilla-Be-Mine shake, which came with not one, but two full sized cupcakes. When you're craving a little (or a big) something sweet, this place is a great choice.

I think this place is great for kids or if you're looking for super over-the-top desserts. I don't think it's that worth it if you're just coming for a simple scoop of ice cream like we did. They do have a large menu, which is great if you're on the hunt for some unique or decadent desserts. And the retro interior is fun and nostalgic.Overall, not really the place for me, but I can definitely see this being a perfect place for families or post-game treats!

What a great way to spend a Saturday in June with temps at 111°. The servers were so friendly and great. We spent a few hours in the shop chatting, feeling very comfortable and welcome.We loved the neon pops of color and purple lighting against the black backdrop for this candy-themed ice cream parlor. All of the ice creams are made in house. We sampled a coffee & chocolate ice cream, and a strawberry ice cream made with real strawberries. They actually put real birthday cake in their birthday cake ice cream and blocks of cream cheese in their cheesecake ice cream. The cookies, brownies, cones, and cotton candy are all made in the sweet shoppe kitchen as well. It was so hard to decide what to order. For a minute I had my eye on the Behemoth Banana Split with 15 scoops of ice cream that serves 3 to 4 people! Haha I have to come back with a crew for that one. We ordered:- Vanilla-be-mine Shake: Vanilla cupcakes, vanilla ice cream, waffle cone crumble, a maraschino cherry, and rainbow sprinkles with a graham cracker rim.- Straw-very-licious Cheesecake Sundae: Strawberry compote, strawberry ice cream, cheesecake bites, strawberry drizzle, whipped cream, a maraschino cherry, and rainbow sprinkles.Everything was so so delicious! You can really tell that the ice cream is house made here. Surprisingly I finished my entire shake. I couldn't quite finish the two full-size cupcakes that came on top though. These are good problems to have. YUMMM

The is is a good little dessert shop with multiple offerings. The ice cream is delicious and there are quite a few flavors to choose from without feeling overwhelmed. The fresh topics are also delicious! The line was long but moved fast. There is also plenty of seating.
