Intentional Foods is one of my MOST favorite restaurants in the valley! Mama Lisa and Chef Ned are consistently crushing it with their quality ingredients, delicious dishes, & freshly made menu items! Everything you find here is curated by the owners with careful consideration for the health and safety of all who have serious food allergies! They are one of the few restaurants that I know of that totally slay on their top 9 allergen free meals! One visit to their restaurant and you will feel like you are at home! Best vibes always! They honestly treat everyone like family, which is hard to come by these days. So happy to see their business grow and thrive!P.S. Don't sleep on their dessert case! It is stocked daily with some pretty epic and truly tasty baked goods! Soooo yummy!

What a sweet spot to eat quality food! My husband was nervous about the portion size, but we both walked out fully satisfied. The staff was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We will be back!!

This was our first time visiting and I am in love! It's a must-try for those with food allergies, as they are free of the top 9 allergens! Amazing for me since I have a wheat allergy. So grateful this place exists for those of us with food allergies- what a great thing to do for people. I had the livin on the veg sandwich. It was so delicious and everything tasted so fresh. Their fries are super yummy! My husband got the rotner fries and loved them. We got pastries for dessert- a lemon bar and the smookie, both were delicious but the lemon bar is a MUST TRY! Soooo good! Service was reasonably quick, super friendly and helpful. They really set themselves apart. We will definitely be back!

Have recently been doing a (temporary) allergen-free diet to help determine if I'm allergic to anything I eat/drink. Being that I usually eat out a few times a week, the lack of doing so has been a bummer, more for the social aspect. I feel blessed though that this is just a temporary thing for me to deal with, and really feel for people who have to watch what they eat everywhere/every day (including a close friend with celiac). At the entrance they ask that you do not bring in any outside food/bev (not even a Starbucks water) so to not compromise the integrity of the restaurant for those with the most severe allergies. I found IF Cafe on Yelp while trying to find a sit-down restaurant (as much as I love our local drive-thru salad place) where I could sit and enjoy a meal. I was even more impressed when the counter gal was so kind to pull out the recipe binder and look thru things I was interested in. This temp elimination diet goes beyond the top 8 allergens so I needed to be a little more careful of what I'm eating. As we were going thru the recipe I said very casually/off-hand that "oh I shouldn't have canola oil..." and they actually cooked my chicken in olive oil! The little things like that go beyond to show they care. The Socal Mexi bowl took some time but that's because it's made from scratch. I added in avo and chicken (both upcharges) since I was famished. I could've ordered fries (baked in olive oil) but they would've taken ~35-40minutes. It's definitely an option thought if you're trying to avoid specific oils and are hungry. It's such a quaint, cute restaurant that I cannot wait to come back to.

Intentional Foods is a tiny little place that serves some good eats. I had the Mediterranean bowl that had lots of greens with yummy potatoes, artichokes and other veg. A ranch like dressing that complimented it well. My companion had the "BLAT" with fries. Also very good! We stopped when done eating to get a dessert for home. The only comment was the crust of the lemon bar was a little thick for my liking but nothing wrong with tue taste. The people were super friendly and I appreciate the small business that it is. Good job!

I've been here twice and both experiences have been superb! The staff is very friendly and super knowledgable about any type of allergies. They really take the allergy thing seriously here and you don't need to worry. They don't even let any items from outside in just to protect those with severe allergies. Both times I've eaten here the food has been fresh and very delicious. Everything is gluten and dairy free as well as free from the other main allergens. I don't know how they do it, because the taste and consistency is not compromised. There's also a little market with items for sale that are allergy free. I am so glad I discovered this place and have added it to my go to list.

Wow this place is a must!! It's allergy friendly and they take great precaution. There are so many choices to order and some additional items pre made you can't purchase. We first tried their nachos which are typically done on Fridays. These were Amazing! You get to choose your protein and toppings and nor only was it big but delicous! We also have had the quinoa sausage bowl and the other fries. All so full of flavor. For desserts they have a selection with weekly specials that never cease to amaze me. Recently they did churros and it was unbelievable they were gluten free. I will dream about that churro. We have also had their smookie and sugar cookie both super delicous and baked to perfection. They have sourdough to purchase that is really good as well. Tons of other items including drinks and a large menu that I can't wait to keep trying more of.

What a treat to find a restaurant and market completely gluten free! We loved the veggie sandwich with fries and the chicken turmeric tacos. We LOVED the desserts. The lemon cookie was incredible! Service was quick and super for fly. There plenty of seating and they serve a variety of drinks! We will definitely return soon!

As someone who usually is eating with another person who has a dairy and gluten allergy this place was a great find!The food is always delicious and the staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. We have been here quite a few times and they never disappoint!We've tried the Mediterranean, Hawaiian Pork, Nachos and Chicken Salad Sammy. Would order them all again!
