Higley Hot Dog Hut

I've heard of this place by so many people. At first I was sort of scared... it looks like it's a closed down trailer home. Dumb, naive me should have realized places like that are always delicious. A "Hole in the wall", respectfully. It's basically a food truck with a more permanent building. It's definitely nothing fancy, but it gets the job done! The staff was very friendly and quick to get my order out. I ordered a variety of hot dogs such as Bagel Dog & Corn Dog, and an order of Chili Cheese Fries.The food was delicious. The corn dog, especially, was so juicy and crispy! I'll definitely be back sometime soon. Don't judge a book (restaurant) by its cover!

I love supporting family owned small businesses and I've gone here several times already. My favorite is the chilli cheese tamales. It's such good comfort food. I also like the Chicago style polish sausage. Simple and tasty. The folks are always friendly and when the weather is cool, we like to eat at one of the outside tables.

How many times have I driven past the little hut with the hot dog on top? Well, today was the day to try them out. Overall it was a fairly good experience. It has a small, modest interior with only eight or nine tables. There are also a few tables outside where you can dine. They only take cash. My husband and I could both get hot dogs, drinks and share some fries for $20 which isn't bad these days. I liked everything about my chili cheese dog. It was fresh, served hot and the toppings were generous. My only major gripe was that they robbed us on the fries, not coming close to filling up the bag. A bummer, considering we were sharing. I think we agreed it was worth going back to Higley Hot Dog Hut if we were in the mood for a good Chicago style hot dog though. (We'll just check the fries next time...)

It's a hut. They have good Chicago dogs and only take cash. The food was served fast and we were able to grab a seat inside. The people were friendly. Not much ambience to speak of, but the prices are reasonable.

This place is a great spot to stop in for an easy and solidly good dog!! The hotdogs are fresh and tasty. It's a little shack so don't expect too much on the outside. But it's part of the charm. Right? Service is quick and easy. Never had any issues with my orders so I'm giving this place a solid thumbs up!!

Fast great hotdogs good price only downfall is they only take cash!!! Small little area in the back to eat your food. Will definitely be back.

Their Italian sausage is really good and my wife likes the Chicago dog. They are priced fair and you get plenty to eat

Higley Hot Dog Hut is a home grown little hot dog stand with indoor seating and great dogs. Located just west of Higley Rd on Williams Field it is small but has about 8 parking spots for those wanting to dine in. The eatery takes only cash, which is more of a fading novelty these days than an inconvenience. You order on the covered outside stand area, and pay. You can wait for your order and take it to go, or you can walk inside and eat ar one of half a dozen or so tables. The staff seems kind, and small, but they make consistent excellent hot dogs the way you ask for them. I often order the Chicago style dog, which is done right and tastes great. I also like their polish sausage, which sometimes runs out if it is a busy day. Today, I also had a milkshake which is done right- a real handspun shake with ice cream. The staff is kind and grateful and always helpful.Prices are good too. If you have never tried Higley Hot Dog Hut, and you love dogs, you must check them out! See you there!

Stopped in at the Higley Hot Dog Hut. Native Chicagoans who moved to the desert and opened a hot dog joint. unpretentious, not trying to rework anything. Just a great Chicago Dog at a reasonable price.

Service was horrific. Frosted tip man was the rudest human I've ever met. Went in wanting to enjoy a hot dog and left feeling like a loser for even trying to give them my business.
