Hideaway Bar and Grill

Very nice place to stop in. The staff is friendly and all the locals are very welcoming!

Went to the Hideaway Bar on St. Patty's Day for the 1st time. It is a cute little bar with extremely friendly staff. As soon as my fiancé and I walked in we were greeted. We chose this place for two reasons, the first reason is no other bars thought to advertise any type of St. Patty's Day meals or specials going on which was foolish on their part. And the second reason is we had never been there before. We were pleasantly surprised. The corn beef and cabbage was good with a substantial amount of food. They had a John Denver tribute band that night as well. All in all we will be back.

Used to be Bernie's Roundup.Disappointing visit to this restaurant after a ride to Roosevelt Lake on 12/26. We provided a heads-up a few days ahead of our ride that there's be 25 in our group. Turns out we had 35, which we advised the restaurant of the larger number and that were 30 minutes away. Also advised we'd be ordering food and drink.Extremely slow service, and I understand with that many people showing up all at once. But, the burgers appeared to be coming out 2 at a time. They must be using onion salt as a seasoning and there was way too much of it on the burgers served at our table. No one at my table finished their burger because of the taste. The fries were very good. No free refills on the $3 Cokes. The medium sized glass is filled to the top with ice and then filled with a partial can of Coke - not even a whole 12 oz can. One of the guys at my table had 3 Cokes: $9. I was told this was a place for great burgers, but I'll be looking elsewhere when I'm in the area.

Margaret is amazing! All food is made fresh to order. Service is top notch and I love the atmosphere.

The new owners are cordial and make you feel welcome. Being said new owners are going through some growing pains and customers will need patience. The food and drinks are good. Thank goodness they upgraded the AC system!
