This is hands down, the most amazing Carne Asada i have ever had. I'm talking about the Raw Meat that you grill at home. So incredibly fresh I happen to live just about a mile down the road from this place and was on my normal weekend trip to food city for carne asada to grill up. My last experience was not very good so I did some home work and found this place and figured I would give it a try. I walk in, go to the meat counter and I could already tell that all of their meat was very fresh. Bright red, not sitting in some week old marinade. There was no marinade. (You have to ask for it). I began to talk to the young kid behind the counter. I take it that this is family Owned and he is the son. Anyway I began to tell him what I want and am looking for. He says don't worry I know exactly what you want. Your going to grill it right? I say YES! I tell him I would rather support local small businesses and he begins to explain that they get there meat every day and the days it doesn't all sell out they throw it away that day. Food city and ranch market do not. They get it fresh cut it thin that morning and sell it for one day only. And the minute I grilled it I could definitely tell! This Carne Asada was perfect! Not to thick not to thin. All beautifully uniform! Hand cut! And the marinade and taste was literally heavenly. Please try this, you will not regret it!

If you want no fuss, good carne asada, look no further. They have great specials and combos for prepared (cooked) food, or you can buy a variety of meats from the butcher block to grill or cook at home. There's an array of fresh baked Mexican goods and a small grocery section which includes cold drinks. Salsas are delicious too! I'm so glad I found this place. It's legit.
