A small mom and pop shop for some Filipino treats in Chandler. I've been here before but have never gotten anything. My daughter has been craving kutsinta and this was the only closest place I could get them. The owner I'm assuming, kept telling me to get the red kutsinta but when I asked why she said "wala lang, it's different kasi pula". That was weird.Anyway, I got a round tray of Kutsinta $5.99, a bag of Moby $2.99 and an ube roll $4.99. Would I get any of the baked goods again? Probably not. The kutsinta had no taste. You can't even taste the brown sugar or anything. And it was rather hard than chewy. Granted, the lady running the place did say it was made last Friday 11/09 and it had been in the fridge since then. The ube roll was mainly bread. Hardly any ube. But when you do get a taste of the ube, it's good. So my daughter pretty much picked out the ube from the roll. I'd go back for the snacks though.

Ube Fact: Ube is not only delicious but also a good source of essential nutrients. It is rich in vitamins A and C, antioxidants, and dietary fiber.I've been here a few times now, but it has been years in between each visit. I remember getting lumpias on the first trip, the second trip was to pick up a dear friend some ube goodies, and the third trip was to hopefully get the ube loaf for my mom but I grabbed cream cheese ensaymada instead. All three trips, a sweet auntie was there to ring up the goods. Talk is minimal, but that's fine. You're just buying goods to take away anyway. Two thumbs up! Heavenly Bakeshop sells some tasty goods. They also sell snacks and refrigerated items. It's worth a gander if you're in the area or waiting for a table next door for dim sum.

After having lunch at Unphogettable, my eldest daugther noticed Heavenly Bakeshop and Catering right next door. We didn't know what type of shop it was at the time prior to entering. My daughter wanted to check it out so we walked right in. From its business name, you can't tell it's a Filipino shop, but after you enter through the front doors, it will be confirmed. It's a very tiny shop. I think I barely walked 10 steps in here. There were different grocery items along the shelves against the wall, a refrigerator with cold items, and a table to baked goods right in front of the cash register. Funny, the lady behind the counter asked me if I was Filipino. I am not, but I get that a lot for some reason LOL. She wasn't the most smiliest and that's okay.My daughter ended up getting a bag of chips and one coconut water which she enjoyed very much. I got baked casava wrapped in banana leaf which was okay... I probably should have gotten something ube instead LOL. My daughter wanted to treat so I allowed her to pay for the goods. Thank you my sweetheart! If you're in Chandler, AZ either as a resident or visitor AND have a craving for Filipino savory eats and sweet desserts, this may be the place for you. Happy and Heavenly!

Heavenly Bakeshop in Chandler, AZ, is a fantastic Filipino bakeshop with a wide range of delicious goodies. Their turon and ensaymada are both standout items, perfectly capturing the essence of Filipino baking. However, what I love most is their ready-to-eat take-home Filipino food. It's incredibly convenient for those days when I don't feel like cooking dinner. The quality and flavor make it a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

Stopped by this little bakeshop with two of my friends after having lunch next door. I was excited to see so many of the candies, snacks, and treats I grew up eating. They also had ready-to-eat meals and desserts.I went a little crazy since I hadn't had some of these items in a while. I purchased my favorite chocolate, a couple bags of chips, and a few desserts. My friends also bought a few things. The snacks were nostalgic and the desserts were good. I would return.

Got the ube bread to try and it was as expected. I feel the bread was slightly on the denser side and not super fresh but it wasn't bad. Might be back to try some other stuff like the lumpia and the Filipino snacks they have. The cashier today was the old man and he seemed fine, not grouchy so I didn't have any issues with customer service. (We only had a brief exchange though.)

Today was an adventure day. Outside of lumpia I know nothing about Filipino food so I was very much outside of my element when I stumbled upon this gem.I decided to select a puff pastry and I'm glad I did. Each bite of break held delicious sweet cream in each swirl. I heated it up a bit and that made it even more delicious. I wish I had purchased a dozen so I could eat one every day. There were also take home options with some amazing looking side dishes.I didn't really plan of finding this place and as a result I wasn't very prepared. Next time I plan on doing some research on well known dishes so I have a point of reference for what I should try

We have been coming here for the past 4 years, at least once a month when we crave roasted pork Filipino style (lechon, seasoned with salt mainly), which to me (being non-Filipino) is different than the one offered at the Chinese restaurant (seasoned with five-spice). And then there's the pancit palabok, my second favorite Filipino dish. IMO they make the best pancit palabok in AZ. How good you ask? Good enough for my Filipino mother-in-law to freeze and fly home with to OH! You must like shrimp to enjoy this dish though. I won't be redundant and mention how unfriendly the owners are, because it's true and it's unfortunate cuz it would not kill them to be nice, would it? I appreciate having a small business owner that gets at least one thing right, hence, the 4 stars, but it really should be 3 because of service and not much ambiance.

I purchased pandesal for the family. It wasn't. It tastes like normal dinner rolls (potatoe bread). Seems like they purchased it from the grocery store and repackaged it.
