Great chef. Amazing experience. Would definitely use for any upcoming events in the future.

We were referred to Robbie through social media and thought he would be a good fit. My group had a few food allergies and he assured us it wouldn't be a problem. He had weeks to prepare for us so I assumed we were all set. The day of the event he called to say that he was at the store and all the salad dressing options had at least one of the allergens.. it takes no time to make a salad dressing from scratch so I'm not sure why that wasn't already in the plan. Bottled dressing, pre chopped toppings, and bagged bacon instead of fresh cooked. We had an extra person show up unannounced and I told Robbie that it was completely unexpected. I asked him to split one meal since the unexpected person came along with an invited guest. His response "I don't split meals". My response "you will today" , you don't have an option. I asked him if he wanted me to ask everyone's preference of steak temperature. His response "I don't take requests. Everyone gets medium rare". I'm sorry... what??? The red wine reduction for the steak was A1. The sides were cold. He brought a pack of white claw to drink. Pricing was not what we were told. After the additional fees (sales tax, sous chef fee, automatic gratuity) it was almost $200 per person as opposed to the $125 per person we were expecting. Everyone there is a tipper so he was going to get his gratuity no matter, but the way he presented this was completely unprofessional.

Robbie is an amazing chef and his food is BURSTING with flavor, just like his vibrant personality. My husband and I wanted a date night stress-free and Robbie provided us a wonderful experience. We didn't have to worry about shopping, clean-up, etc. And best of all we even had a ton of delicious leftovers. I noticed he also made sure to take all the necessary precautions when it came to cleanliness and handling food, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Robbie! if you need food in any sort of capacity, whether it be meal prepping, date night meal, or catered dinner/brunch, ROBBIE IS YOUR GUY!!! He will go above and beyond to make your experience one to remember! Thank you so much and my husband and I look forward to booking more meals in future!

Chef Robbie was recommended to me by another private chef in the Scottsdale area, and I was very excited for our experience with Health Held in Hand. While planning my sister's bachelorette party with Health Held in Hand, Chef Robbie was very accommodating and helped to create a menu for our group within our budget. I spoke with Chef Robbie over the phone a few times and he seemed very friendly and warm so again, I was excited for our experience with him. Unfortunately, our in person experience with Chef Robbie was very different from what I had expected based on our previous interactions. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and made inappropriate jokes with myself and the other members of the party which made us all feel very uncomfortable. Additionally, he was vaping and drinking alcohol while preparing our meal which I thought was EXTREMELY unprofessional. One member of our original group was no longer able to make it to Scottsdale, so we had an extra plate served. I apologized, as I had forgotten to let Chef Robbie know about the change in size of the party. In front of the whole group he said. "Well I already made it so you're paying for it!" I was shocked at his comment because I never insinuated that I would be hoping to pay him less than our agreed upon price. I thought that comment was rude and unfunny. Finally, he set down our dessert and before I could even take a bite, he was rushing me to pay so he could leave. Again, in front of the group he said,"Well I've to leave so it's time for me to get paid!" Absolutely classless! He also loudly discussed prices in front of the group and the bride. Chef Robbie acted like he was doing us a favor by being there, as if we weren't paying a ridiculously expensive per person cost for a meal that was mediocre at best. As one of the top private chefs in Arizona, I genuinely expected more from him. I DO NOT recommend Health Held in Hand for your next event. This dinner experience really put a damper on our evening and this was not the way I had wanted to end an otherwise fantastic trip to Scottsdale.

We had a disappointing experience with Chef Robbie. For nearly $200/person he served a bagged salad, 2 tiny pieces of "bruschetta" and and inedible over-seasoned piece of fish with a spoonful of white rice. In no world did this meal or his service warrant the price charged. Before anyone even came close to finishing their meal he then rushed to get the rest of payment and quite literally ran out of the house to get to another party without clearing a single dish. We actually heard him peel out in the car. I would not recommend this service for the price charged.

If there is one thing I love is quality healthy food and Robb's outdone himself there. From the beginning to the start he gave us the luxury of amazing food but also the faith that we can feel comfortable relaxing and laying back for a night. Thank you again!
