We came here on the recommendation of our hair stylist next door. She said that many of her customers love Happy Kitchen. We don't live close, but happed to be in the area so decided to give it a try. It was a "mixed" review for us.The place is cute and the gal helping us was friendly. We placed a large order to dine in so we would have plenty of leftovers.They brought out some eg drop to start (which we didn't expect). However, it was too gelatinous for us so we didn't each much of it.We started with the PuPu Platter. We loved the chicken on a stick and the honey chicken. The other items: egg rolls, fried shrimp and crab puffs were ok, but not exciting. We also ordered the Happy Family, Super Greens & Dragon & Phoenix (mix of Szechuan shimp and General Tso chicken. We are always on the hunt for the best General Tso chicken (the best we've found is in Reno). Happy Family was OK, but the pork was dry. Szechaun shrimp was pretty good but we had a ton of onions left over and the General Tso was about average; we didn't love the sauce. We did like that they used thigh meat for the chicken which made it moist. Our favorite was Super Greens (green beans, broccolli and zucchini). We would definitely order that again - maybe with the honey chicken or try the cashew chicken.

We ordered dinner via DoorDash from Happy Kitchen and we were pleasantly impressed with how good our chicken was! I got orange kitchen and we also got honey chicken - the servings were large enough we could easily get two meals out of them! I thought both dishes were very flavorful, and the orange and honey chicken weren't too sweet! I would only suggest a few more veggies with the orange chicken next time! Our food came hot, fast and we would definitely order or eat at Happy Kitchen again!

This was way too much food for me, but I wanted all of these items. My waitress was really helpful and told me that next time I could get the same thing in smaller portions. The sauce was too sweet, tangy, and thick- almost like it had too much cornstarch in it.

Extremely friendly service and great food. We get the combo dinners- comes with your entree, rice, egg roll and soup. Portion size is great but that doesn't stop us from also getting the pu pu platter. Your food comes out hot and fresh pretty quickly. The ladies that run the front of house are very accommodating and always there to refill your drink or bring some sauce. They are so sweet and always have the best recommendations. The decor is super cute and the restaurant is clean. Plenty of seating inside to enjoy your meal. Definitely worth a try. One of the better Chinese spots in the area for sure. We travel about 15mi to eat at Happy Kitchen. It's worth it

I like the fact that they make a decent NY style chow mein. No other restaurant that I know around here makes it. But having said that, the white sauce is super garlicky. Way too much garlic. My friends ordered s/s chicken and orange chicken and they said it was awful. I didn't taste it so I can't say. The owners did comp my friend's check and brought out 2 different chicken meals but by then my friends were not wanting to eat their meals. I will say the service was very good. They went above and beyond to make it right.

I have absolutely no negative things to say about this place. Great prices and lots of combo deals, great staff, amazing taste of food, quick wait times, kept very clean. Their online ordering makes for a fast, easy experience. Every time we have been here or have passed by it's always busy which is a good sign. We've been here twice now, ordered something different each time and I will say both experiences for food and good service were equally great. The food has amazing taste/flavor and the customer service makes it that much more worth it. I don't know the name of the lady up front (yet) but she was so sweet and helpful when ordering. We will 100% be returning, and would highly recommend this place to others.
