Delicious food and great service! The tortillas were handmade and so was the juice! Authentic and reasonable prices! The bakery was also really good. Definitely coming back soon!

This place is super new! So new that it had only been opened for three days when we decided to stop in for dinner. The inside has 5 dinner tables and they are also going to have a mini mart as well. We sat down ourselves as there was no one manning the front when we walked in. There was one other party dining in besides us. The menus were dropped off right away and we were excited to see what yummy-ness we could find. I really wanted a Tiky soda as it was listed on the menu. Unfortunately when I ordered it though, they didn't have it at the moment. So I went with a Mexican soda. The server was a mess. He was definitely new at this and was all over the place. We rarely got checked on and there was a few times we had to track him down .he was pretty friendly though. We ended up ordering two chilles rellenos for $8.99, one chicken salad for $6, one chicken pepian for $10.99, and one order of their stuffed plantains for $5.The food was freshly made as we had a full view of the kitchen. When brought out, the presentation of the plate was really nice. The tortillas are handmade and they tasted just like my moms, yummy! My stuffed chilies were pretty good but the beans on the plate were a little too dry. My friend who ordered the chicken pepian enjoyed the flavor of it, but the chicken skin is what grossed him out. Pepian is a Guatemalan dish that is pretty similar to mole. The chicken salad was good and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. We were told that they had ranch, sour cream, and or salsa for the salad. We went with ranch and a few minutes later were told they didn't have any...This place definitely has potential! I want to say that maybe they were a mess since they are super new! I will definitely stop by again in a few weeks to see if things have gotten better!I'm so glad there is a Guatemalan restaurant in town now!

So I'm really disappointed, I've been procrastinating on giving this review because I wanted to give them another chance but.... I won't be going back. So upon entrance you can tell it's a small place, small business and I love to support small businesses. It's a little market full of Guatemalan goodies along with some bakery items and then a few tables. Problem was that for a few minutes we wonder around and 2 people working there saw us and said absolutely nothing until I spoke up. Then we waited and waited... again small restaurant and hard to miss us. Finally they took our order and came back with drinks. The food was ok, not great but ok. However this is why I won't be going back. So about 20 minutes into the restaurant another couple and little girl walked in. They waited for service, they were sat down so they knew they needed to be serve. Ten minutes pass and no one came. Then 3 other people walked in. Apparently the restaurant workers knew them. They were serve on first. After 15 more minutes of waiting guess what, no one acknowledged them nor offer them water. Nothing! They got up quietly and left the waiter saw them leave and said absolutely nothing! The impression I got was... racist. He didn't want to serve them because they were obviously not Latin. That's why I'm not going back. I had high hopes because after visiting Guatemala, everyone there was sweet and amazing. These two workers DID NOT represent Guatemala right.

Gee I probably would have left a 4+ rating if they were open. I've dined-in before and liked the breakfast; so I bring my girlfriemd who is from the Yucatan Peninsula / Guatemala / Belize ancestry. got embarass bcoz I bragged about this place too much then drove to find the place closed. Waited 30 minutes bcoz I think the food is good to no avail. Anyway, at my previous breakfast I had huevos ranchero with smashed refried black beans to die for bcoz it tasted fresh and Guatemalan chorizo, a cantaloupe (melon) drink, and platanos and rellenitos (platanos stuffed with black beans)Dear manager, leave a note on the door if you are gona be late.

We are from out of town and I am Guatemalan so I was excited to try the place out, hoping it was going to be authentic and was very pleased! The food was very authentic and tasted great! There were 4 of us and we were all pleased with our orders! The place is small and they also have a small bakery and mini mart, so of course I also purchased to go :) They only had 2 waitresses and it got busy quick, but they handled it well! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again!
