After seeing the Facebook post we decided it would be Friday's dinner and came out to Cactus & 159th. The staff is friendly and provides good customer service. We arrived before the catfish ran out so we ordered that and pork rib tips. The catfish was seasoned well and fried perfectly. My daughter's pork rib tips had a few dryer pieces. I enjoyed mine for 2 meals.

I purchased a turkey leg with two Mac and cheese side's yesterday at the Phoenix Food truck festival at Salt River Field in Scottsdale. The turkey leg was extremely dry, old and overcooked. I couldn't chew or swallow it. it was inedible and I threw it in the trash immediately after arriving home.I dont know how a food truck can be allowed to sell or distribute such low quality food to the public. Please contact me to return my money or give me the quality turkey leg I have been craving!!!

When you attend something called the Street Eats Food Truck Festival, you know that you are going to have a lot of choices of great food trucks. What caught my eye when I entered late afternoon on the second day of the festival was how long the line at Grill King BBQ was. Other trucks had lines, sure, but none as long as Grill King. Even though they were running out of items, people stayed. It was worth the wait! My first choice of brisket was long sold out, but the pulled pork BBQ was just as good. The meat was moist and tender. The sauce used enhanced the flavors. A side of mac & cheese complemented the overall meal. Truly, just the sandwich and one side, and I was done. It was that satisfying. Even though the queue stretched as far as the eye could see, the employees working on the truck never wavered in terms of smiling or doing their best to get orders out as fast as possible. I was actually surprised that it only took about five minutes for my food to be prepared. All the other customers waiting around conveyed their happiness at having waited for Grill King. I spoke to a nearby vendor who told me that the lines the day before had been just as long, if not longer. Like a lot of food trucks, Grill King's business is supplemented by catering, including company picnics, weddings, reunions, and whatever else may need large-scale but yummy food. The menu is a smorgasbord of comfort soul food including ribs, fried chicken, burgers, catfish, cornbread, peach cobbler, and much more. Of all the exciting things happening with food trucks throughout Arizona, the renaissance of classic BBQ is especially exciting! You can find their upcoming schedule on their website. They seem to be in Buckeye quite often. #BlackOwned #BlackOwnedOnYelp

1. all the workers were rude and standing around doing nothing 2. food was cold and disgusting 3. charged us for soda and told us we needed to pay again to get it because they "didn't charge" the first time when they literally did 4. the food is dry with no flavor and genuinely tastes like my 8 year old made it 5. my bf got the brisket and only got fat pieces. like bro it don't even look like brisket 6. they are wayyyy overpriced for their disgusting prison food moral of the story: save ur money and stay as far as you possibly can

Poor service. Waited for about a hour to tell us no brisket and the hot link that was ordered. Told was last one and burnt. Wasn't the only one told after already payed that everything was out. No communication from cook to server. Poor heard food wasn't worth it from others that waited also forever.

For a $20 beef brisket meal, the fries were cold, soggy, and graced with but a pinch of salt. The mac and cheese was somehow even colder, glooped together in one congealed mess. The only saving grace of the dish was the brisket beef, which while acceptably delicious in its own right, was severely under-portioned for the price. Perhaps this can simply be excused as a bad day, but if the trend of reviews thus far serves as a cautionary tale, then maybe the title of "king" is better off in the hands of any average home cook.

Food was good enough for a food truck, but the girl that took my order was open mouth chewing down an order of fries as I ordered my food. Was almost enough for me to walk away. If you needed a break to eat, take one, don't put on a feed bag on in front of guests!! A really bad look not to mention a serious health code violation.
