Strict 3 stars for vibes and not-so-bad cold brew. Giving an extra 1/2 star because 2 1/2 was an option and someone played dreams by Fleetwood Mac that one time. Here's for the occasional loud country music, fun employees, free drinks, messy floors, out of alternative milks, and 50-cent water cups!

Low-quality coffee. Employees are kind but do not make drinks well. The wait time is extreme and I usually walk away with a bad tasting drink. Prices are also high for the quality of product, especially when you order milk substitutes. *Pro-tip: if you want light cream, just don't order any cream at all because you will never receive LIGHT cream.

Gcbc is one of the most incredible places I've ever been in my life! The barista's are so nice and caring, and one of them even help me replace the tire on my car. They'll do anything else to go the extra mile for you and will remake your drink no complaints if you believe it's not up to your standard. The service is great and the drinks are amazing, especially stampedes. Most of the barista's are so good at what they do that they can do exceptional latte art because theyalready know how to do everything else!

Honestly honored to be the first reviewer of GCBC, aka the oasis of GCU. Home of the best drinks on campus, this coffeehouse is filled with fun baristas and some vibin music. The drink choices are endless, so many milk substitutions, so many flavors. I love this place. Gcbc, if ur reading this, I created this yelp page and am your number one fan. This is actually a fan page.

While I absolutely LOVE the fact that GCU started GCBC after the previous coffee place left, every drink I have had hasn't been good. The blended drinks I've had were very watery and when I asked for a splash of cream in my cold brew or iced americano they put a lot more than a splash. One drink was nearly white from the cream (and lack of espresso.) Other drinks I have had were insanely sweet, because it honestly depends on your barista. They are consistent, but the consistency is in making bad drinks.Since they don't make good drinks I am choosing to not use my dining dollars there, probably for my next two years at Grand Canyon. I do want to say they are very friendly, but all the friendliness in the world doesn't mean anything unless your product is good.

For those who care to wonder why I give this place five stars here is why. Yes their lines are fairly long for some parts of the day(rush hours). Yes their coffee is not Starbucks. Yes they only have 7 or so workers making dozens of drinks at a time. Given these circumstances GCBC does a pretty good job. The average wait time is 5 minutes to order and 5-10 minutes to get your drink and/or food. This may seem like a while but upon realizing that the workers are all students trying to make a huge amount of orders it make sense that they are not as quick as Starbucks would be. In regards to their coffee, tea, and food items I would give them a 4.5/5. The only reason being is that on 3 occasions they have forgotten to make my order and I had to go tell them about it. In response I was given my drink as well as some other item to make up for it.Now the atmosphere of coffee shops is one that I have always loved. Background music, plenty of seating, great lighting, and just a wonderful environment. GCBC matches all of these and while the music genre may change a bit in response to who is working and thus controlling the music, it does not change the atmosphere. I come here to do homework, do devotions, and just relax. In the case that this GCBC does not suit you, the other one at Roadrunner Apartments might be more accommodating to you.

I could not rave about this place more! GCBC is a super fun place to study and hang out. I'm a big fan of their coffee, especially since they have a ton of milk alternatives (I recommend oat milk!!) Their breakfast sandiches too are BOMB. 10/10 would recommend! The baristas are polite & make great conversation. Warning!! Lines can get long during a rush but I promise it's worth it! & if loud-ish music isn't your thing, maybe try out the other location at Roadrunner! All in all, GCBC provides a fun environment with great food, coffee, and service!

Drinks are okay, horrible vibes 80% of the time. The baristas are usually pretty stuck up and rude. 20% of the time thats not true, but just don't expect a "friendly" encounter. They have smoothies but not actually because i've actually never been able to get one since every single locations blender is "broken". Not a great coffee shop, lattes are decent, but matcha is subpar. Never really have a good experience, usually Im called back before my drink is ready because their out of something they didnt know about before i ordered. I like going because its a convenient place to study on campus, but if you are into coffee shops at all, youll probably be disappointed:(

I love this place. I get a stampede every day. But today I went to the Diamondback location (where I always go) and found a fingernail in my drink. Absolutely disgusting. I love GCBC but I don't know if I'll ever go to this location again.
