Golden 9 Restaurant

I love coming here and been coming here throughout +15 years. It's decent food with reasonable prices. You can sit inside or outside dog friendly patio. Right off I-10, across from Love's, & next to motel 6. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu but got to be honest, I have not tried the Mexican at all (which is a very small part of their menu And I can go anywhere else for that).

This a great place to get some good food. The food and service is always good here. They even have some large vehicle parking close by. Including semi truck parking. I love the Mexican food and the burgers are excellent as well.

I'm a long haul truck driver. It's across the street from the Loves truck stop Good food friendly staff. Food has flavor I've eaten here before I'm glad I came back to eat A must try You won't be disappointed

Great place. Local and busy so you know it's got great food and a good value. It is a diner. Kicks me back to when I was younger and this was the place of choice on road trips. Will be back. Food was great! French toast and ham and eggs.

Great place for a classic diner breakfast. Pancakes were huge and the ham and cheese omelet is packed with meat. I added mushrooms and it was bangin'. Women-run and best cooked over-medium egg we have had on the road. The service was quick and friendly.

Just letting you know guys, this is not a ribeye. Went back to let the lady know I order a ribeye and she said, "yes, that's a ribeye." WOW!!Half of the potatoes was undercooked. Coleslaw was water down, very water down. Don't recommend.

Was a Saturday when we went and wow my friend who recommended the place goes a lot of the time so thanks Jason it was great and the entertainment was amazing.

We were staying nearby and wanted some diner-style home-cooked food. This place was touted to fit that description so we stopped in. They had some tables blocked off for seating to facilitate social distancing, and the staff was wearing masks. It wasn't too busy so it was easy to stay separated from others.My husband ordered the hot turkey open-faced sandwich that came with mashed potatoes and cranberries. He said it tasted very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with chicken gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It came with a side salad (or soup if you choose) and a dinner roll. The steak appeared to be a fresh patty rather than frozen and the mashed potatoes were not the instant kind. The green beans were buttery and tasty. The dinner roll was light and fluffy with a hint of sweetness. The side salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing had yummy chunks in it as I prefer.There was plenty of food in my meal, and I may have overeaten a bit just to finish it all up. This is a good place to stop for a sit-down meal if you are willing to brave the freeway exit semi-truck and car traffic trying to get to the gas station across the street.

While the service can be slow at times the food is always good. We love to go in after a long day and have a meal. The Ice Tea is fabulous. The Salads are always fresh and the soups are a must try. They have gotten better over the years but like any restaurant they do have a few slow times. This is a little diner you must try.

I took my grandchildren there tonight and spent $73 ridiculous because the food was so bad there was only three people in that restaurant and the service was horrible we didn't get what we asked for I got the chicken enchiladas and there was barely any chicken my granddaughter asked for and eggs and home fries and they brought her scrambled eggs and hash browns then when I asked where the ham was they brought me a bowl of chopped up little pieces of ham my grandson had just a bowl of pasta noodles and they weren't even done my other granddaughter asked for tacos with just cheese on them and they brought them with everything on it and beans and rice it was horrible and I've been going there for years and I never wrote a review but it was so bad tonight I don't think we'll be going back
