Goat and Ram

Okay, this is for all you pizza snobs, like me who say you can't get a good pie west of the Mississippi . I grew up eating pizza from the venerated shores of New Haven and the pizzza at goat and ram is as good as it gets anywhere...including New Haven . They dollop a bit of ricotta and smoke their tomato sauce. Why that works is truly beyond me, but it does . The crust is the thing that they get so right. I don't know how but it is light yet holds up to three finger stance. Don't have to fold this slice, it holds its own. Ya gotta try it!! If for no other reason than to say Chris bianci who? Frank Pepe you have competition out here !!!Thank you GOAT and Ram and please don't change a thing!!

Stopped in for lunch and was pleased w/outdoor patio which was dog friendly! Salad: $9 which fed two hungry adults. Cheesy crusts: 4 large, like Texas Toast of with an abundance of gooey, melted cheese and marinara sauce for dipping. Guess the bar is separate , but we had 2 local beers ( must pay each establishment Sept) and were cold and refreshing!

Their pizza is so good! Freshly baked in pizza grill, and their menu is so unique.We got to try barbecue chicken pizza and cheese pizza with cauliflower and onion, both were so unique and delicious. I especially liked cheese pizza with cauliflower, it was super cheesy, it you like cheese like me, this is it! And small cauliflower bites on it, it was satisfying to chew!

Amazing pizza ! Today I had the Three Cs weekly pizza. This pizza had chimichurri sauce, smoked chipotle lime chicken, pepperoncini cream cheese, mozarella, and parmesan. Loved the combo of flavors! I really love that they have new pizza options weekly . Great service and wonderful vibes here. Check it out next time your in downtown Mesa!

I have been a loyal instagram follower of Goat and Ram for ages but today was the first time I actually tried it! It's inside of a brewery hut very easy to find, it says goat and ram on the window. Service was great, they were accommodating for our baby! We sat on the patio and it was nice! You order at the counter then they bring it to you. I got a potato and leek pizza, my husband got cheese with no ricotta, and we shared cheese toast. It was a lot of food, we had a bunch left over! I also got hot honey and ranch, both very yummy additions to the pizza. The crust was the best part for sure. Good quality ingredients and we were happy with our food!

Top 5 places to get pizza in Mesa! If you know this spot you know! We ordered the pepperoni with the honey on the side. It took about 20 minutes but it was so worth the wait. Great crust, flaky and fluffy. Not oil and everyone was so kind. I will be back to get a beer. Not super busy for lunch on a Thursday but all the locals were greet

Had two of their Amazing pies and a toastie. Wow ok although these guys were slammed, this pizza off the charts!

By far the best pizza we have ever had. Tried it by chance after stopping in Phantom Fox and will come back for the pizza when visiting!

Conveniently located in downtown Mesa we enjoyed our first experience. This laid back brewery and pizza joint have a chill vibe with cold brew and hot pies. We enjoyed the crust one this one! Fast friendly service.

Walked in and ordered the pepperoni and sausage shortly after they opened. The smell of fresh pizza dough and marinara hits you as soon as you walk in. The anticipation was building. After a short 12 minute wait, I took my pizza to go. When I opened the box I was really impressed with how gorgeous this pizza was. The crust was perfectly golden brown with a little char here and there (it adds flavor!). The crust is light and flavorful with the right amount of chew. Pro tip, order a side of marinara to dip the crust, it's that good! The toppings were perfectly proportioned, the sauce was delicious, the taste of fennel comes through in the sausage. It had everything I was after. The hunt for good pizza in AZ can be somewhat demoralizing after living in NY. But this was a great find!
