Gilbert Water and Ice

This place is gold.I recently discovered it, because I've been using the water delivery service for years and been spending 10x more than if I had just came here. I could have saved hundreds maybe thousands of dollars over the years. It comes out to be $1.75 plus tax for a 5 gallon water fill up. The water is reverse osmosis which is the same quality as the water delivery companies. Also, you can come in at your convenience instead of waiting for the delivery truck to drop it off each month.ANNND... if you really can't wait, there is a water dispenser on the outside of the store for 24 hour self-serve water-filling. These external fill stations are a little banged up from vandalism, but the spouts looked clean and still functional. This place is really clean inside which gives me confidence of its sanitation.They have all your water needs and even sell bottles, caps, dispensers, not to mention, little knick-knacks and random novelty items.ANNND... Thrifty ice cream and snow cones and other snacks! Yep, you can be healthy by getting your water and then be unhealthy at the same time by getting some sweet treats. It's all about balance, right?This store is like those little shops you grew up with as a kid and dipped into your piggy bank to get a treat. This is a family run business and I hope it stays in business, because it is tucked away in the corner at the end of the shopping plaza and easy to miss.

You can't rely on their posted Sunday hours. I have been there a few Sundays and found them closed. I guess on Sundays, they close whenever they want. Frustrating.

Just moved around the area and been going here for 2 weeks and I'm glad to have a good place to go to.Nice and clean business. Its much bigger than other water and ice and has a lot of selection between ice cream,snacks and candy. Great service and friendliness.

I honestly go here because it is close to home.The Thrifty Ice Cream is great, but don't buy candy here. Every time I have purchased candy from this store it tastes like it is 5 years old. Next time I buy a different kind of candy, it also tastes old.They have snow cones and a few other drinks that are OK. The people that work here are Asian and are very nice but English is not their strong point.Bottom line, if you need water & Ice, Ice cream or a snow cone, check it out, if you want anything else, go someplace else

Great place to grab ice cream after karate with the kids. Quick service and decent amount of ice cream selections.

I brought the kids twice after school, Hawaiian shaved ice and thrifty ice cream. You can't go wrong with thrifty ice cream, and the shaved ice they have plenty of flavors to chose from. I would recommend this place for desert and great prices!

The water machines outside are very convenient however they short change their customers.If you attempt to buy a gallon of water, you don't actually get a whole gallon.I've attempted to contact the owner with no answer.

Great service and a wide selection of flavors for both ice cream and shaved ice. 10/10 would recommend.

Everytime we visit this shop the store is closed, hours are not up to date on sign and the machines outside rob us. Don't get your water here!

This station has great customer service and plenty of treats and lots of variety and very clean
