In the scorching sun of Arizona, few experiences can rival the delight of a mini food crawl at a local farmers market. The Gilbert Farmers Market, in particular, captures a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of a friendly gathering among neighbors and farmers alike. As you wander through the market, you'll encounter a myriad of unique culinary options spread across numerous stands and food trucks, each offering their own distinctive flavors and specialties. From fresh produce to artisanal treats, the variety is truly impressive, making it an ideal spot for food enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. If you find yourself with some time to spare in the valley, I highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll through the Gilbert Farmers Market. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that encapsulates the spirit of the community and the bounty of local agriculture.

What an awesome place to shop for local unique items, food and other cool stuff. Talk about a great way to spend a weekend morning! Much to see with some great eats. I ended up with fresh veggies from a farm and a Hawaiian Shrimp bowl that was delicious. I walked by a few times and thought it's pretty early for shrimp but once I saw them and smelled the shrimp, I thought to myself I better grab that for lunch later on. I also tried some great coffee with a line around the corner. I'll get back to you'll on the name of that stand!Excited to go back and take my time to see everything Gilbert has to offer!

The BEST market in the east valley. So many delicious local options. Tons of farm goods, food & local shops. Every booth is full of the best things & offering locally owned options. Standouts for me- coffee food trucks, seasonings & donuts!! Definitely the place you want to be on Saturday mornings all winter long!!

Mostly a food festival but w a great deal of variety. Parking free but busy. Friendly and kind patrons and vendors. Increased seating would be great!

A quaint Saturday Farmers Market with plenty of produce, bagged goodies and eateries. Best thing about the market is the free and spacious parking lot right out front. Food trucks and coffee were located to the left. Produce stands were near the front. Packaged goods and miscellaneous treats composed of the remaining tents. I found the produce to be a tad disappointing in quality, with a majority of the vegetables and fruit to be rotten or battered. It was priced similarly to those in supermarkets and I found the quality to be inferior. Service was fast but hospitality was a bit lacking. Credit cards were accepted at most vendors. Most of the interactions were transactional and there wasn't much conversation to be shared. As a person who's not too big on sweets or pet supplies, I wasn't able to really purchase many items. However I'm sure other Mesa residents would be able to enjoy such options. The venue was clean and sunny and I hope to see fresher produce being sold. At the moment, the market has potential but it's not the greatest.

One of my favorite place to go on Saturday mornings in downtown Gilbert! There are so many cool things to see and eat. The fruits and veggies are super fresh and colorful. I always buy a bunch to take home. The food trucks are awesome! They have yummy breakfast items and a few different options for coffee. It's like having a picnic with all the best food.Got a pup? There are plenty of dog friendly vendors with water dishes and a few of different treat stands, from cookies to chicken feet and jerky, many options for our 4 (sometimes 3) legged fur babies. But the desserts are the best part! There are so many sweet treats like cupcakes, pastries, and breads. I manage to always gravitate towards the carbs, especially at Noble bread. This time, I picked up two loaves, one sourdough and another sourdough with rosemary. They even have desserts for people who can't eat certain things, which is really cool. Dairy and gluten-free with vegan options are easy to find. The market is so much fun and full of energy. It's the best way to start the weekend. If you go, I bet you'll love it too!

Part of what sold me living in Gilbert was the sense of community, and that is definitely what I feel when I visit the Gilbert Farmers Market on Saturdays. They are open all year round, their hours change in the summer. We love getting sourdough and other fresh baked bread. We grab a bag of pasta from Sonoran Pasta Company, our favorite fresh made pasta! We love stopping for coffee or tea and getting breakfast at one of the many food trucks! There's something for everyone at the Gilbert Farmers market! It is VERY busy when the weather is nice and I'd suggest getting up early to catch your favorites before they sell out. Dogs are welcome but not in the summer after a certain temperature which is smart!! Can't wait for the next Market!

I really enjoy hitting up the Gilbert Farmers Market on Saturdays. It's a great way to spend a weekend morning and an awesome opportunity to check out a ton of local vendors, Though I find this one much more food forward then the downtown Farmers Market, they still have lots of items being showcased from pottery, plants, dog treats and body products. It's always insanely packed and many of the coffee or breakfast food trucks have a very long line, but that is to be expected for a popular farmers market on the weekend. I do love that downtown Gilbert offers ample free parking within a walking distance, even a garage for covered parking on those hot summer days. It's also walking distance to lots of other spots in DT.I would have to say I still prefer the DT Phoenix Farmers market, as I find more unique items and artsy stuff, but the convenience and ease of Gilbert does make it worth going to. I love getting meat from Proper Provision, their black garlic or sage sausage is AMAZING, paired with Noble's ciabatta rolls - chefs kiss! We have also snagged local goat cheese and fresh from this market to pair! Definitely great spot for fresh produce.

Gilbert Farmers Market is a weekend must! Fresh veggies, friendly vendors, and just the right amount of chaos to keep things interesting. It gets packed, but that's part of the charm--just grab a coffee and embrace the stroller traffic jams. If you love good vibes and accidentally spending too much on homemade jam, this place is for you!
