Great service and great food. 3 fish tacos ordered. Huge and delicious March 1st from 2 to 6 a live band. Every Thursday a live band. Got to come and enjoy the fun atmosphere.

Depending on what you are looking for. This is more bar than anything. Does have live music at night. A little higher priced than expected for a burger. 3 people $60 without drinks.

Home of the Original Waylon Jennings. Great food and drinks! This place screams Waylon and Jessi Colter!

Sunday lunch visit. First time here. .7.99 burger w Fry's and appetizer plate wings 9.99. Hardly anybody here but food wait well over half hour.Very good wings and burger though. Friendly staff (2). Worth a revisit.

Honestly when I saw the description for this place as "Classy" and "Good for kids" I just had to laugh. The place is a site to be hold, the main building is small and dark as hell and it opens up to a stage and a massive open area what looks like it used to be a barn with a few picnic tables and pool tables. You would put a picture of this place next to the the description of "Dive Bar". I've been lucky enough to have left in time to miss the live music but unlucky enough to experience the overwhelmingly loud heavy metal music while I'm trying to eat. All that and I haven't even reviewed the food and service yet.The food was okay at best if not a bit inconsistent with how good it is. I've had their burgers and what I guess you can call cheese curds and it was all around forgettable. The service has been a joke the past two times I've visited. The waitresses aren't rude, but either are too focused on each other or just straight up disappearing inside where you'd have to hunt them down if you wanted the check do you could leave, which you wouldn't think it's possible to have to try and hunt down a waitress when the building is the size of nickel but here we are. All and all, I'm not going back. I would recommend if you like loud metal music.

I came here with my husband after we had to put my cat of 20 years down. Drinks and service was good, we did not order any food. I saw this episode on bar rescue today, things look better, but it is still a honky tonk hole in the wall, Not that there is anything wrong with that. I actually prefer bars where you have a chance to get to know the regulars. We have since moved a good distance away, so not sure we would be in the neighborhood any time soon.As for the bar rescue show, it was reported that John Taft was a bit of control freak and quite rude, but that is hearsay so I can't attest.I do think he should get his thyroid checked as his eyes really budge when getting upset/aggressive

First time to go to the Gallopin GooseI was pleasantly surprised Reminds me of the honky Tonk'sWe have in Texas. Food and service was excellent We arrived just as they opened at 11amAnd it got real busy fast the waitress Was really moving and did a terrific jobWe had hamburgers onion rings and fish and chips. Delicious I will definitely be going back

Our group had burgers.Everyone was different and we all were very pleasesWaylon Jennings used to hang out here. I love this bar and the food is yum.

Come here for lunch all the ttime. Atmosphere is really cool. Service is always good and so is the food. Tons of history packed into a bar that you can watch a real life rodeo at. Totally worth checking it out.
