This is the first time we've been able to visit the fountain Hills arts festival. My sister lives in the area and invited us out to share a day with her. We decided to get there early on Sunday and I am so glad we did! This is truly the perfect time to be there, around 9:30 AM on Sunday morning as they are just starting to open the boobs. We had plenty of time to wander the isles before things got super busy by lunchtime.I was able to purchase, some Christmas gifts as well as some art decor for my yard.I will say the food was a bit of a disappointment. Very overpriced and either the quantities were very small or things just weren't very tasty. Husband was not happy that there was very little meat on his Gyro and the tzatziki sauce tasted like just sour cream.of course, there were plenty of other food trucks and booths, but it would take a while to get through them all lol so it is what is is. This is one of the best art fairs we've ever been to. The variety is excellent, it's not just art, but they have jewelry and some of the best outdoor patio furniture and seating solutions that we've ever seen. The artisans are friendly and willing to share their story, highly recommend taking a trip out to this one.

A great 3 day free art event held in Fountain Hills park. There are many vendors, businesses and food. The festival is held yearly Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm. On Sundays the show closes an hour early. Wear your walking shoes, take some water and wear your hat. It can get crowded so be patient while enjoying artwork. Arts of all types, photography, ceramics, sculptures, paintings, jewelry, metals, cacti, CBD and more. All types of food vendors to choose from. There are port-a-potties, music and happy people walking about. There are businesses open during the show to visit as well. Lots of street parking that is clearly marked. Free WiFi.

Huge. No. I mean huge! This has the largest number of vendors in AZ based on my experience. Art Fair on the Square in Madison, WI has10 blocks or more of vendors on each side of the street. Fountain Hills is pretty close.

Wow, we had no idea this festival was going to be that large!! it was mega amazing . Great choices of Art and crafts. Beautiful location. Lots of food choices and spots to rest . Wear comfortable shoes and wear a hat it was hot and it was only 76° . Be prepared for a huge festival. We actually couldn't do the whole thing.

Had a great time looking at all the different vendor booths and there were a ton of them. We walked for 2 hours and still didn't get to all of them. Fountain Hills is a beautiful place and the fair was held right next to the fountain so the views were amazing. Definitely returning next year!

A great place to go to see tons of artists of all types and buy holiday gifts, anytime gifts, gifts just for yourself, or just people watch and enjoy the artists and the outdoors. This festival is one of the largest in the area and is done twice each year, in November and February. You can find any medium you want from photography, jewelry, sculpture, woodworking, painting, Native American goods and more with more than 500 vendors and that doesn't include the multitude of food trucks. Some is expensive, some is reasonable, but if you can't find something of interest here, then something is wrong. Sometimes it is just nice to talk to some of the vendors who will answer questions if you have similar hobbies. They come from all over. Many will bargain with you, some won't, but it doesn't hurt to try. It can certainly be very crowded at times, and personally, I don't think it is laid out as good as other festivals with booths on several streets that does make it hard to see everything. Sometimes, just nice to enjoy the beautiful views or just look at the incredible talent of the artists. There are certainly some booths that are purely commercial, and some booths that I could never imagine someone paying for their ideas of "crafts" or "art".. but it takes all kinds of people to make the world go round, so give it a try. Plan on lots of walking, and bring plenty of water or plan on buying lemonade or other drinks while there . Parking can also be difficult, and I would say to plan got at least 3 hours if not more if you really plan to look around.
