Flippin' Rice

We went to a festival where Flippin' Rice was parked. We got the Flipping Teriyaki Chicken, Crispy Adobo Fried Rice, and Lumpia. The Lumpia was definitely my favorite dish we ordered. It was perfectly crispy but not burnt. The picture on the menu made it seem like there was a lot more vegetables in teriyaki chicken dish. There were only 3 or 4 green beans however the chicken and the sauce was really good. As for the fried rice I wasn't a big fan of the meat that was in the rice but overall a tasty dish.

The food is delicious. Not a ton of things on the menu. Prices are a bit high. Nevertheless, I really love their Crispy Adobo Fried Rice. Great flavors. I'm sad they don't spend enough time in the East Valley. And even though they post their upcoming spots on FB, it is not uncommon for them to flake and not show up. It would be nice if they could use their social media to update customers who might be following them. This has happened more than once.

Flippin Rice is a food truck that offers a mix of Filipino and Asian foods. We recently tried them at Food Truck Friday West in Glendale. We tried the beef bulgogi. To be honest it wasn't my favorite bulgogi but it was better than some that I have tried. Most of the meat was tender but some was dry and crispy. They did the egg perfect and I thought their kimchi was really delicious. Pretty good and worth trying!

A little pricey, but the best option at the Bird's Nest Waste Management Open this year. Had the Adobo Fried rice ~$20 with tax and tip. Good flavor, good amount, and the chicharróns were a yummy surprise on top. Didn't take a photo of it, because I was so hungry and finished the whole thing before thinking of snapping a shot

The adobo fried rice is soooo good and I love their lumpias. Since I don't have easy access to their locations, I always buy four orders of the fried rice.

What an AMAZING food truck! SO flavorful & fast, too! I had the honor of trying their food last night when they came to my campus.My friend and I shared a teriyaki chicken box and a orange chicken box. Both of these were downright delicious - Way better than anything I've had at chains like Panda. The teriyaki chicken box was bursting with flavor, as was the orange. I really, really enjoyed both of these and it is hard for me to pick a favorite- But, I have to say the orange was my favorite because the texture on it was great! Order it and find out what I mean! Also- Don't miss out on the lumpia! I ordered two on the side and was definitely not disappointed!! The people were also incredibly nice with great customer service. I can't wait for them to show up again!

Always get the Chicken Fried Rice when I see their coming to my side of town - very tasty plenty of chicken and vegetables -best ever had and good size portion

The truck came to Cadence in Mesa on a Thursday night and so damn happy we tried. We ordered in advance for a pre-set pickup time. The bulgogi beef and the flippin teriyaki chicken were both excellent and a good sized portion with the rice. We added a lumpia (pork and shrimp) for $1. The lumpia was crisp and not greasy and excellent flavor. Loved the bulgogi beef flavor - the kimchi was crisp and perfectly spiced and the egg was a good addition. The jalapeños were crisp and fresh also. I held the cilantro. The chicken was also great - lots of meat and perfectly done veggies. Order was ready about 10 minutes before the assigned time so glad we got there early. We understand that sometimes they sell out or you have to select a much later time. Online ordering process was easy and accurate.

Flippin rice is flipping good! They are on a regular schedule here at my work. Always look forward to seeing them in the parking lot. Order the Same two dishes. Beef bulgogi and chicken fried rice. You will not be disappointed. Staff is always nice . They have a regular out of more than 75% or the employees here. Despite always having a line they move quick as welll.

I tried Flippin' Rice for the first time when they stopped by the Mayo Hospital in North Phoenix/Scottsdale. They were the only truck there and there was a line of people but that didn't stop me from getting a meal! I'm glad I stayed cause it was delicious. Being Filipino, I try and go out of my way to support local restaurants and food trucks that offer Filipino food or some kind of fusion. They either bring me back or take me forward! I think FR was more of taking me forward into what Filipino flavors and traditional items can be remixed. Hopefully they come back around so I can try their other dishes!
