We went to Etta for the first time under the new ownership, and while I loved it before, I love it even more now! They are now open for 21 and over brunch on Sundays, and the place is absolutely popping. It's the perfect spot to go with friends--the ambience is lively, the DJ keeps the energy up with amazing music, and the whole vibe is just fun and exciting. The drinks are phenomenal--you're greeted with a free champagne pour, and the cocktails are crafted to perfection. They're not just beautifully presented; they taste incredible and are unlike anything you'll find elsewhere. As someone who is very picky about espresso martinis, I have to say theirs is on point! The brunch menu is spot-on. Everything we tried was fantastic, and every person in our group loved their order. It was just an excellent experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Etta for any special occasion--or just because. This place is a must-visit!

Wow! Haven't been to Etta since the reopen and I must say I really love the vibe. The DJ and the candlelight are really a nice touch. The service is 5 star. We had Mariana as our server and Sara as our server assistant and they were attentive kind and informative. The food: we started with the house made focaccia of course and whipped ricotta, my mouth is drooling right now just thinking of it. Then we had the wagyu meatballs that just melted in your mouth and the sauce omg the sauce! We had three entrees; ricotta pillows, bucatini pomodora and chicken Parmesan a la raj. I don't know which one was my favorite because they were all too delightful to choose. Lastly Chef Brandon surprised us with dessert. We were able to try the tiramisu cheesecake and the lemon meringue pie. Lastly a chocolate triple layer mousse cake. Had no room for the dessert but ate it anyway because it was to die for.

Let's start with the positives.Service was impeccable. Drinks were delicious, quick and they provided complimentary sparkling wine.Everyone was kind, attentive and genuinely wants you to have a good experience.Etta as a venue is stunning, I went for Sunday brunch and only half the restaurant was open we were finally sat right in front of the DJ booth about 20 minutes after arriving at our reservation time, it was way too loud. Think LAVO brunch in Vegas meets bottled blonde in old town Scottsdale loud.Thankfully two bar spots opened and we relocated to the bar where the noise level was more tolerable.Don't get me wrong it's a vibe but it feels catered to a very young/specific audience, Maybe offer the other side of the venue for those who want a more relaxed experience. The food was disappointing. I started with shrimp and grits nice presentation but the portion was offensive it was smaller than an appetizer yet priced like an entree.Shrimp was dry, overcooked and bland. The bartender was very gracious and we swapped it out for the pepperoni pizza thinking it would be a safe option.Pizza looked good and was a generous portion. Unfortunately it was smothered in a honey sauce that was so sweet we could barely eat it. Again the staff is incredible so I will give Etta another shot for happy hour or maybe dinner but brunch is a no for me. If I was rating solely on food it would be a one star review.

It's RARE that a restaurant can redeem itself. But this one has. I used to live nearby and came when it originally opened. The food at that time was oily, heavy, unpleasant. We went back after their big renovation (I think there was a fire and it's under new management) for a friends birthday. We were almost hesitant to go because of our previous bad experience. But this was a close friend and we'd have shown up for her anywhere. The food was phenomenal! The drinks were creative and strong. The ambience and music high end and resort-like. They did a great job. We got espresso martinis (of course), the Wagyu Meatballs, Hamachi Crudo, Ricotta Pillows, and Grilled Iberico Pork. I don't even eat or typically enjoy pork and this dish was amazing. So, great work, Etta!

Omg, how can a five-star experience drop to a two-star rating? It happens when you have a waitress who can't explain the menu properly. I ordered the salmon dish because she claimed it was the best in the valley, but it was far from it--dry, lukewarm, and lacking in salt. The pomodoro pasta was cold and bland. Our waitress noticed that I didn't eat any of my pasta but didn't bother to ask why. For a $46 salmon and a $30 pasta, I expected something incredible, but it was underwhelming and disappointing. It seems like the place is trying to be a trendy spot with loud music and basic food, which is fine, but when you're paying this kind of money, I expect exceptional quality. Unfortunately, this experience was a letdown. One and done!

Overall underwhelmed and disappointed. Bar ambiance amazing, bartenders were not attentive. Restaurant had great ambiance and music though a bit loud for conversations. Our server was good but not exceptional. The food was overpriced and underwhelming except for the salads, flaming burrata and the waygu meatballs. They were good. Very disappointed in the pastas which were made on premises. Just overall bummed because this place came highly recommended by a couple sources. We won't be back.
