I bought 2 ground beef tacos last night, today I am so sick I can't eat anything. The dish was full of grease. Not the same as I received in the past.

This is the place to go for authentic South of the Border cuisine. Step up to the "order here" counter, and you'll be met by some of the friendliest people on earth. They actually appreciate your business. And the food isn't just good....it's hot, fresh, and served in giant portions. I'd love to keep this place a secret, but that would rob the world of one of the area's hidden gems. Try it! I recommend Tuesdays. You'll know why when you get there.

Sorely disappointed in the Apache Junction location, especially as residents who have been repeat customers week after week via mobile order. My husband stopped by to grab the taco special that we have gotten for the past 2 weeks just to be double charged and told they don't "exist". He was treated rudely and ignored as suddenly the workers could no longer speak English and continue to ignore him as they worked on the food. He ordered 8 tacos to be charged over $30. He had to wait for them to finish making the food before they would speak to him again. The workers had the audacity to then ask if still wanted the food. I do NOT recommend this place, although we have gone many times the food was only ok because we could get the tacos for cheap! It is sad that their customer service is so poor that they have no desire to speak with customers when issues arise. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry for 8 years and worked in management.. Unprofessional and childish. This is why Apache Junction business have issues with revenue.

Do people really eat here? We came in spent 58$ and it was trash. Actually all the Bertos are trash. We haven't been to one yet that we like and we have tried a few, I was raised in a Mexican household so maybe I'm spoiled but this is far from anything edible. The quesadilla was sopping wet with grease you couldn't pick it up. No children's options. The best thing they had was the French fries. Felt like because we are white they treated us differently.

If I order a specific item and you don't have it you need to say so up front. Substituted items are bullsh*t. It's not like this place serves quality authentic Mexican cuisine. Filibertos will be my go to from now on. They inform you immediately if they can't fill your order

Erickbertos is another one of those local Apache Junction restaurants in my community that I have driven by countless times but never stopped in. Part of the reason is that little voice inside me that tells me to turn my head the other way when I see any place that has "... bertos" in its name. The reason has to do with the history of why they do it ( it all started in mid-60's California with Roberto and Dolores Robledo and a little taco shop down the street from me called Robertos), all those hundreds of copycat places after them just sound like pretentious turnoffs to me.This place has some very negative reviews. Few things are more true than when I see such reviews, especially about a Mexican restaurant, the place is probably awesome. The most common "complaint" is that somebody got their feelings hurt because there was some minor mistake with their order but nothing about the quality of the food. I honestly don't know why Yelp allows negative reviews criticizing restaurant employees for making honest mistakes. They're human and they work hard and this site shouldn't encourage public shaming like that.So if it matters to you, the employee that helped me was kind, courteous, friendly and served me exactly what I ordered and she gave me a detailed register receipt.I went to this restaurant in person and my check-in proves that. My photos were taken by me as proved by my location geotag and I own the rights to them, they may not be copied, sold or modified without my written permission.I ordered the #6 beef burrito and enchilada combo and it is so big I can't finish it all and that's rare for me, it is the largest such combo anywhere in this neighborhood and there are no hidden tricks like stuffing the burrito with cheap fillers, it is all meat and spices and weighs over a pound. The place is clean but if you're used to white glove service remember that this is a mom & pop fast food place in AJ.My only disappointment is that this is another example of how Yelp's "explore the menu" hurts businesses. They show what I ordered as being $7.50 when the price is really $9.99. I won't blame the restaurant for that, Yelp should keep that feature up to date if they're going to offer it at all.As always in any of the many places I review for 5-stars should be reserved for the best of the best. Erickbertos comes close to ticking all of the boxes so I waver between a 4 or a 5. I think you should try it and decide for yourself so to encourage that I'll bump them up that little notch based on having no negatives to report.

Missing a full order of nachos. Great ordering food for company and the order is paid for but meal doesn't arrive and everyone else's does. On top of it any available phone numbers don't answer. Horrible customer service. Wouldn't order again. Own up and fix mistakes.

On October 9, 2023, at around 6 30 pm, I ordered three shredded beef tacos through the drive thru. After my wife ate her two tacos, about an hour later she started having all the symptoms of food poisoning. All night and all day Tues she was dealing with all the symptoms of food poisoning, which worsened .I'm assuming that whoever prepared the food didn't wash their hands or the food was expired or not cooked right.I tried calling the restaurant to speak with a manager and it went to voicemail .I'm very disappointed with Ericbertos and I don't recommend this place at all ....
