It was late so I thought I would stop and get me some to eat and I found this place. I had a drive-through it's right around the corner from my house and I ordered the Carne Asada platter and it comes with rice and beans. It took them a Long time to get my order to me. I was the only one in line, so I'm not sure what took so long and it was kind of pricey which surprised me so I get home mind you. I only live a minute from the restaurant, I sit down to eat my food and my Carne Asada was dry and flavorless. and my beans were kind of dry. The cheese wasn't even melted because they weren't even hot. I was very disappointed because I see people going there often. The lady at the window that helped me was very nice and was able to answer my questions when I was ordering, but again, I was disappointed that my food wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

After living in Mesa for my entire life, my husband and I went here around 11pm after a concert at The Nile. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla. The food came out quick AND hot! Now, was it the best Mexican food? No. Was it the worst Mexican food? Also no. It wasn't bad, especially after a busy and crowded concert.

The wait was ridiculous first and foremost. There were 4 different sets of people who can in and ordered AFTER me and left BEFORE me and they had rather large orders. My order was simply 3 burritos. My carne asada burrito had nearly no carne and was all rice and guacamole. I requested no guacamole because I'm allergic to avocados. The green chili burrito had bad meat on it. I did not bother to try it because it smelled spoiled/rotten. The last burrito was my husband's chicken burrito that had nothing but rice on it and maybe 4 pieces of chicken and he said it tasted like it was cooked with vegetables and took on that flavor. I can't help but think because we weren't Hispanic, we were treated differently/poorly. We will NEVER be back! I sincerely hope this place gets shut down. The Salsitas on Central & Southern is by far the best of the locations. I will travel several miles further for quality and fairness...

First time here and definitely my last. The inside is dark and doesn't look very clean. Stopped in because my friend raves about this place all the time. The cashier was far from friendly. The menu is non existent and the salsa bar was not looking fresh. Ordered tacos al pastor and they weren't anything special. The beans were the only thing positive about my visit, they were flavorful. The cashier was on her phone the entire time and only seemed to be friendly when men would stop in...

Went through the drive through last Sunday, it took so long the guy in front of me shut off his truck while he waited. Once I got up to the window I could see why, they were packed! We got 2 chicken chimichanga plates to go. They. Were. Phenomenal. First off they were huge. Gargantuan. And oh so amazingly crispy on the outside. Topped with dollops of sour cream and guacamole like a crown on a large, crispy, golden baby. After taking a few bites, I got a taste of the chicken on its own and man that was the best chicken I've had at a Mexican place. They did not skimp on the beans and rice and they paired so well with that crunchy-shelled blimp of a chimichanga. After eating the entire thing and literally licking the plate clean I can confidently say they have the best chimichangas I've had in the valley so far. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but if you have a hankering for a beautifully crispy outside, wonderfully flavorful inside, chicken infused, absolute brick of delicious flavor, try the pollo chimi. You'll thank me after you wake up from your food coma.

Specifically order carne asada tacos and asked them to not be burned. I got BURNT over cooked meat. I throw it on my table and it makes a sound like if it's a spoon that's how burnt it is.

I love mexican food and this location was far from that. I ordered an al pastor torta which hardly had any meat and the meat it did have was dry. In addition I ordered 5 roll tacos that barely had any guacamole and cheese. The food was greasy and tasteless. Ive been to several Salsitas locations and this one is by far the worst. Save your money and eat at the Tacobell nexr door!

honestly I think they have new management now, so the food is so bomb. The tortillas are handmade and the meat is good so well, it has flavor and the salsa and the outdoor deck at night is lovely

Food was cold and took for ever to be delivered to the table. I have never written a yelp review before but this experience prompted me to write one. On top of this the food was overly spicy way more than necessary and had no flavor.
