I wanted something sweet and I love trying new Boba places because they do offer different flavors and varieties of what's already out there. I have to admit I don't think i would have felt comfortable hanging here I think I'm too old for this place ha ha. It is a cute little cage with lots of tables where you can sit and enjoy. Their Donuts are Mochidonuts so the consistency is a little different. They are not light and fluffy throughout.... they are light with the initial bite then have the mochi chewy denser consistency.. you have to try it. It's not bad it's just different. But the sweetness level was spot on for this sugar addict!! The staff was friendly and u enjoyed watching them work their magic in the kitchen area.

Was in the mood for a boba drinks and this spot was nearby. Just a few other people there on a weekday afternoon and I ordered the Hong Kong style milk tea with honey boba, less ice and half sugar level. It was prepared pretty quickly in a few minutes and customer service was friendly. I should've heeded the warning from my boba sistah's review that they don't seal their lids and that my drink would spill (which it did). The drink was just okay. The tea tasted watered down and the boba texture was inconsistent with there being a few tougher balls. Overall an okay experience here but wouldn't rush back.

I'm not sure how much inflation has increased in Phoenix since COVID, but I refuse to believe paying $10 for a milk tea is the norm. Yes, I ordered a drink on the expensive side, but with an average SMALL drink being $6.00+, I do not think this place is worth going to.I ordered the chestnut milk tea with cream and pecan. Starting price for a SMALL was 7.75. Add the size up(0.75), boba (0.75), and no ice (0.50) options and you get basically a $10 drink. Oh yeah, they also charge extra for sugar, like what???? And the drink was just a basic black milk tea with cream and pecan on top and roasted chestnuts inside. The drink was just mediocre at best, especially given the premium price. Although I shared a drink with my gf, we didn't finish it because we didn't think it was that good. Their boba is just okay, with it having a decent chew but lacking overall flavor. They weren't very sweet, and I would not recommend adding their boba to your drinks. The service is okay at best; the lady at the front seemed like she couldn't wait to go home. Although the interior is nice and reminiscent of HK/China, I honestly cannot justify any reason to drop double digits on a boba milk tea, when there are so many other places in Phoenix that offer the same quality drinks at a fraction of the price.

We were craving boba today and wanted to come back to duplex tea. I got the osmanthus tea with cheese foam and boba. I liked the flavor and the sweetness level I chose. The amount of boba in the drink is nice too. The only downsides were the menu said +$0.50 for the cheese foam but the receipt showed $1.50 my drink ended up being $8.50 which is a lot. I wasn't expecting that. This is the most expensive cheese foam I've had anywhere so far. The other issue was some of the boba pearls in mine and my boyfriend's drink were hard. I like supporting local and I hope next time is better and the menu prices are updated.

If you want a cool drink for a summer day this may be the place. It is a tradition boba tea place. They don't have fancy boba drinks like other places in the valley. They do have a lot of tea options to choose from. In my opinion this place is quite expensive for what you get. It won't be my first place to choose when I'm craving boba, but it is close by for me. I recommend trying it in case it's your cup of tea. ENJOY!

I got a lychee tea here and it was okay, very fragrant, which was nice. But I didn't think it was worth $8.. I also tried their fermented rice drink, I thought it was very creative! It has a subtle fermented rice dessert, but it was also kind of bland.

Upon stepping into the establishment, I was immediately struck by the pristine cleanliness and the welcoming demeanor of the staff. Their friendliness created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. However, I must admit that the prices were on the higher side, which left me a little hesitant at first.Opting for the heavy oat bowl, I eagerly anticipated a hearty and filling meal. Unfortunately, I found the portion size to be smaller than expected, especially considering the $9 price tag. Nonetheless, I couldn't deny the uniqueness and incredible taste of the dish. It was a refreshing departure from my usual choices, and each spoonful was bursting with delightful flavors that left me craving more.Regrettably, my friend's choice of the oolong tea, aptly named "duck poop oolong tea," didn't fare as well. The translation may be amusing, but the taste was far from enjoyable. She disliked it so much that I would strongly advise against trying it.Despite the mixed experiences, I must commend the clean ambiance and the friendly service provided by the staff. While the prices may be a bit steep and some menu items may miss the mark, there are undoubtedly unique and delicious options to be found at this establishment. Give it a try, but perhaps explore the menu beyond the duck poop oolong tea for a more satisfying experience.

Slow service and the boba is like mashed potatoes texture wise . The taste of the milk tea was not too bad though. Ambiance is decent. Nice little study spot.

Do go to Duplex!I'm a sucker always for some sort of mango coconut option and this place really satisfies. Paired with a croffle and I'm set for the perfect sweet snack. The layout of the shop is different, but fun and neat way to look at their knick knacks or grab a booth and chill.
