Dodo Bird

I had an awesome time here the other night. They have an incredible happy hour menu and the decor is beautiful, bright and colorful with lots of greenery. There is also lots of parking available in this plaza which is SOOO CONVENIENT!!!!!! They also have a few free games and darts (which is not free). I decided to try the espresso martini and frozen margarita. They were both good. For food I ordered the mac and cheese and Chicago sausage. The portions they served here for happy hour were very generous, and I didn't end up ordering an entree since everything else was so filling. I also highly recommend the mac and cheese, it was so warm and cheesy. My friend ordered the wings and they were really good! Other people in our group ordered burgers and there were no complaints. It was my birthday, and they brought out complementary fried ice cream with a candle. Honestly, an awesome time! I can't wait to go back!

Solid cocktails and pretty good food. The burgers are on point. The chicken sandwich was excellent. The chili dumplings were just okay but we look forward to trying more on our next visit. The bar staff was friendly and helpful.

Google and apple haven't fixed this places hours so let me start out by saying this place opens at 3 pm not 2!!! The menu is small but the fries are probably the best fries I've EVER had. They have games but it's very limited and they were almost always being used. Play when you can! Seating area isn't huge, but it's sure aesthetically pleasing. Definitely a fun little quirky place to check out. I took a picture of my friends beer to show that's how it was brought out. Yikes. As a bartender I would never give a beer out that low.

We have been waiting to try this new spot and we stopped in for a nice Thursday happy hour and dinner at Dodobird. If you're looking for a new go-to spot with great vibes, amazing food, and reasonably priced drinks, Dodobird is it! This bar and restaurant delivers on all fronts. The atmosphere is inviting, with a perfect balance of trendy and cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive, our server Talia was really great and made sure we had a nice experience.The drinks menu is very nice, featuring classic cocktails with a creative twist. The food was also very quick to come out and was really good. Best of all, everything is reasonably priced, so you can enjoy without breaking the bank.I feel that this place will be around a long time and it was a great visit!

New Restaurant & Bar Stopped in for a quick visit to @dodobirdaz It was vibing grand opening weekend. A line out the door and a packed dining room and bar, says it all. It's just what Scottsdale needed. I quickly fell in love with this concept. The Dodo Bird is captivating the moment you step inside. Bringing a unique ambience, bold flavors and presentation to their gourmet menu. The cocktail menu was catchy with the hand drawn drinks. I had to try a Naughty By Nature I will definitely be back to explore more menu items.

Arrived on a Tuesday night around 5:15. Beautiful spot. Games. Beautiful staff. As is any new place things are always missing and I hope this reaches the management for room for improvement in the future. Pros: gorgeous. Tons of parking. I ordered wine and no one complained about the cocktails so I assumed they also enjoyed. Next door to the cheapest watch battery store alive. Cons: ordered the Brussels spouts and left out a key ingredient, smells like a sewer at times. It was a Thai food spot before. I'm not sure how you rid that but it's apparent throughout. At least when we were there and running the dishwasher and then walking to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom (the only one I saw that was shared) and at the start of a shift had zero towels to dry your hands. I did notify the bartending staff. But honestly there were 3 people behind the bar the whole time who were chatting and didn't deliver drinks ordered as I saw the drinks sit there for a while, while our waitress was busy. It wasn't that busy, but any new spot has pain points. And also, not the bartenders job maybe, just pointing out observations. I'll go back for sure at some point but I'll probably wait til they figure out nuances.

I was excited to try this place they been promoting it alot saw there menu was very small that normally a good sign almost didn't stay as you walk in the door there was a horrible smell like dirty water or the mop hasn't been changed in a month but I got over our server was very nice she had a question about the menu she found out right away stared out with the wings there were ok seemed to be a precook wing but it was nice and crispy the two sauce were ok I like the Thai one best the ranch just tasted like mayo I got the southwest burger it was decent beef was beefy if that makes sense need some more seasoning they must use mild hatch chili it had not spice and they don't put much sauce on there burgers either but for the price it a win there drink menu seems to be there focuas I think this will be a grate neighborhood hang out I would go back for sure

Food and drinks are amazing, the dodo carajillo is a must if you love expresso drink,I've never been a huge cauliflower fan but the Cauliflower KFC has changed my view on it.

The food and the service is amazing and a super great atmosphere! I love the theme that they have going on and everyone is so nice!

GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS! Highly recommend the Cucumber Cocktail AND the dumplings. You will not be disappointed. ALSO, Andrew (the bandana guy) is a real one, and he provided excellent service.Try it out!
