Dave's Bakery Outlet

I really like this bakery outlet, which is located just in front of the actually bakery/factory. There is a large selection of all the different kinds of Dave's Killer Bread. There is a section of day old for about $2.50 less than it sells for at Fry's, and there is another section that the bread is $2 for two loaves. There are also other prepacked bakery items, like Oreo Cakesters. I might not go out of my way to go here, but since it is on my way to a lot of places, I stop in often to save a few dollars.

Half the price of bread!? Sign me up! I've been wanting to stop and finally got a chance. Not too busy. It's a cute small store with a variety of bread and snacks. Bought a raisin and whole wheat bread for the freezer. I'll come back again if I need bread or in the area.

A bit hard to find if you use GOS. It takes you to the front of the building, which is really the back. It's confusing bcuz you see the address up on the building from the street. You have to drive around to where delivery trucks go in the back.There is a good selection of bread choices. There was no rye when I visited. I have to say we liked Dave's bread which is the first time we had it. They also sell dessert items like hostess cupcakes and such. And they sell some good meat sticks and chips.

I love coming here. It's a small place but well stocked. Great bread and pastry at great prices. I especially love getting the bagels and freezing them for later. I'd recommend this place.

Ya gotta love high quality deeply discounted bread! Dave's Killer Bread is some of the tastiest commercially available bread out there so when we were driving by and saw the giant bakery outlet sign we had to stop and browse. In addition to Dave's Bread they also have Freshly's goods and a smattering of other brands of bread, some jarred condiments and dry packet goods. The cheapest prices they had for Dave's Killer Bread was 2 for $5, a killer price indeed! Dave's bread outlet is great because tiny imperfections in the baking process mean that the bread is about 1/2 the price of the perfect loaves. The product is always within the expiration date and the staff is friendly and efficient.I purchase 6 or 8 loaves at a time and pull them out of my freezer as needed.Highly recommended!!

I go here about once or twice a month to get bread and other snacks and the people working behind the are very friendly and nice to deal with the service is always timely and Avery positive place to go .

I am so glad I saw someone else post on Nextdoor about Dave's Bakery Outlet. What a fun store with great prices. I paid about $3.50 a loaf. I didn't even know Dave had so many varieties of breads and rolls. Dave's is some of the healthiest bread out there. My registered dietician loves it for the fiber content, while I love the taste. It was easy to get to from the Tempe/Scottsdale border. It is on the north side of Southern Ave, east of Country Club, which is north of the 60 freeway. The door says hours are Mon-Sat 9-5. You will be pleasantly surprised when you go there. Don't hesitate. I am going to be a regular customer from now on.
