Of all the crossfit gyms in the east valley, this is it. I enjoy how personable everyone is without crossing lines into too much drama or too much gossip. These are people with careers, as they are professionals. There are high school, university, and even trade school students, so there's a little bit of everyone here. Everyone does their best and encourages everyone at whatever fitness level, so everyone is welcome. I know I feel welcomed when I first joined :) The only improvement I can say is because this box is so strong in community, a little less chatter in the warm-up and focus on the workout. I am guilty of that too, so I promise I'll do better. Also, thank you for not dropping the "Crossfit," out of the name because of a few bad apples in Crossfit headquarters. Anyway, thank you so much for having me, and can't wait to work out here again!

We moved to the valley a couple years ago and we're so thankful we found this gem!!! This gym is filled with professionals from firemen to project managers... to nurses and teachers... to accountants and tax experts... and it's also filled with love!! Great community and amazing, caring coaches that are always so encouraging!! We have fun in the gym and outside of the gym as well... we have Christmas parties and potlucks!!! The workouts are lots of fun and every Saturday is a partner workout!! Come join us!!!

Dropped in here while in Mesa for work. Great space to get your workout in and easy online registration and payment for drop ins. Pro tip: Thursday is a common rest day for this box, which translates to lots of 1:1 coaching. Will definitely be back.

So far I've been going to this CrossFit for total of seven weeks. I joined as a six week challenge had a great time. it was A little difficult when I started, I was pretty far out of shape but I have learned quite a bit I have lost 15 pounds I feel so much better. The staff has been great on explaining the moves and helping me adjust the program to fit my abilities. It has been a great experience. It's One of those things you get back The effort that you put in.

I'm here from IL, stopped in to just check out the box to see if I had a good feel for the place. The coach instantly came over introduced himself told me what they would be doing the next morning since that was when I was thinking about going. Very glad he did since they are doing the 17 WOD's on Fridays!! I dropped in on Monday got a great workout, very good coaching and friendly clients!! Would highly recommend them!! Hoping to go back next week before we leave for the long trip back to IL!

I've been going to this gym for several years now and without a doubt it's one of the best things I've done for myself. The community is great...a mix of young and old, experienced athletes and people new to fitness. Lots of families and all around good people that make this a great place to get fit! The coaches are great too...they work with you on all the movements and push you to accomplish things you didn't know you were capable of. I have a full garage gym and still keep my membership here because of the energy. This is the best investment I've made in myself.

Only here for the day! Definitely a good vibe with some intense energy going on in here! The gym was full of great people. I was able to get an awesome work out in. I have trained with Marcus Neal, the current manager for a couple years. He is an amazing coach that cares so much about teaching and helping people on their journey to a healthy and physically fit lifestyle. In my time with Marcus, I lost about 50 pounds and took my body fat from the low 30's down to the high teens. My quality of life has improved so much, everywhere from being able to ski/snowboard better, be a better mountain biker, etc. Crossfit is great overall fitness that applies across the board, combined with proper nutrition it has helped make a huge positive impact in my life and I highly recommend Coach Marcus!

Upon my seasonal trek to Arizona I researched many "boxes" before settling on CrossFit New Strength. I took a lot of time to check into the reviews of the plethora of CrossFit gyms in the Mesa and Gilbert area. I even visited Elite and Crossfit Veer. Attracting me to CFNS is the spotless new facility, the "Wodify" software program and the fantastic coaches. Also the hot yoga integration via Sumits Yoga Gilbert and sister studio, Hot Lotus is another great aspect. I took equal time visiting and reviewing yoga studios and these are by far the best! The coaches take a very structured approach to the workout. I believe this encourages strict adherence to form while pushing you to limits previously unknown. The trainers are very knowledgeable of movements, technique, and give really quality coaching. Some CrossFit gyms are pretty loose and have an open gym approach. CFNS also takes a holistic approach as they foster healthy eating and help design meal programs for those who want to participate. In concert with the hot yoga workouts, which encourage flexibility - a key component in CrossFit. I'm not as strong as other people in my class so with certain workouts they help me scale to an appropriate level while making sure I am challenging myself. If you are a beginner and are intimidated by CrossFit, this is a great place for you start your journey. The workouts are usually 45 mins and it is changes everyday (targeting different areas) so the variety keeps it from becoming stagnant. You are able to view the WOD's, reserve classes and see/post your results all via their software application. They are constantly working to improve the gym with new class offerings, special programs and social events. I would highly recommend CFNS!
