Was really skeptical but good tip, last 2 hours of the day is half price and well worth it. As you go into the Crayola Experience, you have various ways to spend the tokens you are given and opportunities to pay $1 for more tokens. Token activities are, custom Crayola label making machines, photos and Crayola colored dough. After that are various 'included' things to do with wax.... cool molds, spinning hot wax, coloring areas, robotic arms making characters of your kiddo, digital coloring experiences and painting area. In the middle is a snack bar, with wax hand making and a gold panning experience. Have to say, highlight was the custom Crayola label making machines.

We love it here! Such great staff and so many stations! We could spend about five hours here if you really soak it up. Great discounts on shop and snacks for membership. I love the selection at the gift shop! So colorful. Expensive as can be but high quality products. Sometimes it takes a second to get to the station but they let you go through as many times as you'd like. Beautiful bonding opportunities here, love it

This is a great experience for young kids. We had a free ticket when we made a purchase from the crayola store next door and decided to check it out. We were expected to be in there for around 30 minutes, didn't expect much, but it turned into a 2 hour thing. You can make your own crayon wrappers. There are a few different art stations where you can make spin art and molds. And a lot more experiences. It was a good time. Was talking to one of the employees and they said the best time to go is on the weekends. It's less crowded so there are long wait times for the activities.

My wife and I love the Crayola Experience. We first discovered that the Chandler Mall was getting one by way of an advertising campaign held by Crayola at the Chandler Ostrich Festival. We then visited and became annual passholders immediately afterwards. We even paid for our friends to be members as well and we get together fairly regularly to go and chat and color together. They have the Experience separately than they do their retail store right next door. As a passholder we do get and use a discount. There is a large selection of things to do once inside the Experience, including making and naming your own crayons, buying/using Crayola modeling clay, taking pictures of you and your group and then being able to color yourselves, plenty of pages to color, a few stations for Crayola crayon creations, etc.It is a great value being an annual passholder and it gets you discounts at the concessions stand - which could be run a little better, be open longer hours, etc. but it is still great for popcorn and drinks. It is a fabulous escape from the Arizona heat on many summer days.

The crayola experience is so fun. Selecting the crayons from the crayon wall was the best part of the experience. Staff was so/so they kept directing us in circles which became frustrating

Great place for children. My kids are entertained for 3-4 hours every time. Tons of different things here to keep them occupied. As far as cost $25 per person is over 2 years old. You're better off getting a year pass for $35. If you're military or veteran bring proper ID for a free yearly pass.

We had a good experience here, as part of Operation Polar Express, an epic trip where 6 adults and 3 littles travelled to the North Pole (aka Williams, AZ) via boarding the Polar Express to get handed a bell by Santa. Chandler was one of our first stops on this journey and we wanted to find a place where our littles could wear themselves out a bit after having a good first long trip in the car. The Crayola Experience is located in a very cool and very large mall. It has a bunch of activities and stations. They give you coins at the beginning and these can be used for the vending machines to get different color clay and to make custom crayons. The littles dictated that we get endless clay but if I had my choice we would made a ton of custom crayons. I thought this was super cute! Some other favorite activities were making our own crayons in the shape of happy faces or cars, the screen where it looks like they are pouring paint on you, the picture taking station (this is the BEST), the station where we made ukeleles, and the spin art. This place is kind of expensive for what you get and it definitely felt a little off to pay for Adults when the experience is all about the littles. Speaking of "expensive", the admission does not get you full access to everything that this place has to offer. For example, they had this cool gold mining thing but you have to pay extra for it.At the end of the day, would I make a special trip to come back here? No. But I would definitely come back if I had a group of kids that wanted somewhere to hang out in AZ where we could do fun, creative and inventive things for a few hours. And I would 100% come back to the store if I was ever in the area.#OperationPolarExpress

Fantastic place to visit with a ton of activities to do!I went right when they opened on a weekday so there wasn't very many people there. I took my 5 and 7 year old and it was great for them they had a lot of fun.The highlights were personalizing your own crayon and spin art with melting a crayon. My son loved designing his car on paper and having it scanned onto the screen. There's a lot to do and we spent several hours there. It's nice you can take a break for lunch at the mall's food court then re-enter to continue the fun.

Great way to kill a few hours. Took the kids here on Easter Sunday and we had a blast. Lots of activities for the young ones. I would say 3+ would be a good age to go. Unless your toddler really is into arts and crafts since that's the main attraction. We colored, painted, played with dough, hunted for treasure, and played with sand. I can't imagine my kids wanting to spend more than an hour here if they were any younger.

My daughter and I came here while trying to kill some time. We saw a bunch of signs and this huge mural on the side of the building. It's located inside of a mall/shopping center. We bought tickets online to save a little money. We were checked in and given a bag with 2 tokens. These tokens are for the personalized crayons you can make or modeling clay. They do have coin machines if you wanted to buy more coins. The bag was to keep everything you make inside. This was such a cute place. It's perfect for smaller kids, but my teen did like making her own personalized crayons. We took a few free pictures in the photo booths they have and made a few art projects. The snack bar was closed when we were there. They also have a store to buy stuff as you exit. The staff was also very helpful.
