Had dinner with another couple at coopers Hawk tonight. The Malbec was excellent, service by Stan was very attentive. My filet was perfectly cooked and the broccoli and asparagus was also perfect. My wife enjoyed her surf and turf. Also the Caesar salad was very nice.Comfortable environment and we could talk with each other. I will be back

Wine is ALIVE AND WELL!!! That's my takeaway from my visit to Coopers Hawk for dinner last night. Glad I had a reservation because the place was completely packed for a Tuesday night. This included both the front bar area and spacious dining room. Because of that the noise levels are a bit high, but it's a great energetic feeling in this place.For an appetizer, I tried the candied bacon and cheese plate. It included a couple different kinds of cheese and a nice mozzarella and tomato offering. With it, I paired the red wine flight which included a pinot noir, a super Tuscan, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and a petite Syrah. A really great start to our meal.For my main course, I had trouble deciding there's so many good looking entrées on the menu, but I landed on the surf and turf which included some fillet mignon tenderloins, and I went with the blackened Aji tuna as my surf add. I punted on the mashed potatoes and doubled up on a really good roasted vegetable mix. My date ordered an outstanding shrimp risotto.The service was great throughout the meal and we punted on dessert even though there's a beautiful list of things I'll go back to try. There's plenty of parking around the facility and it includes an outdoor patio that I believe is dog friendly.Dinner for two including a glass of wine or two and appetizer will run you about $100 pre-tip. I actually think a great value for your experience here. Highly recommended and I can't wait to get back.

Pro-tip: I would say reservations are a must unless you're just coming in for winetasting or you don't mind an hour wait.Highlights: I love the complementary pretzel bun. I'm not into wine, but I thought the food was pretty good. The menu is enormous and I like how there's a life balance section which promotes healthier and lower calorie foods. We had really good service, which I guess is expected for this place. Lowlights: The plates are really big for how small the two person tables are. I thought most of the entrées were overpriced.

As always, appetizers are my go to. Drunken shrimp is always amazing, as is tuna sashimi. Opted for white wine, and their Sauvignon Blanc is lovely. My friend ordered a burger with blue cheese and crispy onions, and she was pleased. Our young server Alex was professional, and the noise level was not bad since I asked to be seated away from the bar. I didn't order potstickers this time, but they are another staple we get when visiting Cooper's Hawk - be it in AZ or Illinois. Sadly, no pics bc we were too hungry!

I have been want to go here for some time. We went here to celebrate two birthday's and had an amazing dinner. We enjoyed some samples of wine while we waited for our table. Once seated our amazing waitress took such good care of us. I went with the surf and turf and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table lived their dinners and wine. We capped off the meal with some sweet treats. It was an excellent night and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

While visiting Tempe for work, we had a team dinner here, and it was most excellent. Ambiance/Atmosphere - 5/5 - Very fancy looking restaurant. We were seated in the back room with our entire team. Such a great vibe.Staff - 5/5 - Very Friendly and helpful. Made sure our glasses were full.Food/Drink:We ordered several beers and mixed cocktails, but as for the food, it was a price-fixe menu. We had the following:Crab, Shrimp & Lobster Bisque - 5/5 - This was excellent. I did not taste crab and shrimp, but definitely tasted the lobster, which was more important to me anyway lol.House made meatballs - 5/5 - Very tender. Trio of Medallions - 4.5/5 - I am only knocking it 0.5 due to the size, but very flavorful and tender as well. If I was able to choose, I would have chose the Red Wine Short Ribs.Key Lime Pie - 5/5 - It had such a nice refreshing, tart flavor.House Made Truffles - 4/5 - Thicccccc. Salted Caramel Creme Brûlée - 5/5 - One of the best creme brûlées I have ever had.Overall, I am glad our team dinner was at this place. I do not think I would have even considered coming here when I was in town, so again, glad we were able to celebrate our team's accomplishments here.

Great place for dinner. It's a nice set up with the tasting room, bar and restaurant. Enjoyed the food very much. That pretzel bread is so tasty and too easy to fill up on. Cocktails were sub standard and disappointing, for a high end restaurant. Enjoyed the drunken shrimp as an appetizer.

Honestly, can't say enough good things about the staff, mgmt, ambiance. We had a large group of 25 and needed to do some last minute reorganization to the room. Our lead server "Frank" was fantastic and went over and beyond to make sure everything was right for us. Can't say enough good about him and who he had helping. Everything came out on time, was perfectly timed For our event. Everyone raved about the food and they have a desert that is amazing. Highly recommend them rather its for a dinner for yourself or a larger event. Frank was excellent.
