Finding good coffee on Christmas Eve was already a win, but discovering Controlled Chaos Coffee made it even better. This tucked-away gem has a warm, cozy ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great cup of coffee.I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa (hope I got that right!), who was incredibly kind and gave a spot-on recommendation for the cold brew. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for coffee that will ACTUALLY energize you and tastes great, Controlled Chaos is it. I've completely stopped visiting Starbucks. I'm a pretty picky person, and have yet to try one thing on the menu that hasn't been three rungs above everything else on the market.My favorites are the creamy chaos latte, matcha latte, and mango tea.In addition, Lisa (the owner) is incredibly kind and great to have a conversation with, and the ambiance is very calming. I love sitting in the booths to drink my coffee and do some work.

My first time trying this place and I'm blown away. my boyfriend and I spend a loooott of our time trying small coffee shops just because I don't like going to big brand name places, and I LOVE when so much thought, love, and care goes into the end result.I love how smooth the coffee is and I love the taste. I don't like a sweet coffee but my boyfriend does and she was thoughtful enough to tailor our drinks to us even without us asking. he even enjoyed my much more bitter coffee. being able to hear how she started and why was the cherry on top to make sure I keep on coming. if you are a coffee lover looking for your new go to place, give it a go!

Having Controlled Chaos Coffee be a destination for Small Business Saturday, we popped into Bangkok Grill and headed to the back where Controlled Chaos Coffee sits. Their menu consists of coffees and teas and they even have the traditional phil filter coffee if you so wish. Need a catering order? You can order your bagged/boxed coffees and teas here!One the first visit, we ordered the Hong Kong Black ($4.75 Assam black tea and condensed milk) and a Caramel Chaos Coffee ($6 espresso, vanilla, caramel, caramel drizzle, and mik). Both drinks were delightful and full of flavor. I love it when places uses condensed milk for their Hong Kong style milk teas so it was a pleasant surprise. I will say that their coffee is probably what I would order from here.It's a great spot for some caffeinated beverages. Since they're inside of a restaurant, I'm not sure I would recommend this as a spot to sit around with friends or to get work done but definitely come here if you need some caffeine on the go!

Writing this as the spot I visited for Small Business Saturday.Controlled Chaos Coffee is a small coffee shop inside of the Bangkok Grill restaurant. They have different types of coffees, tea, and beyond. This business also offers catering in the form of bagged/boxed drinks.The service is great and there are plenty of seating. I recommend the Specialty Coffee (Traditional Phin Filter Vietnamese Coffee) and also the Caramel Chaos Coffee. You can adjust your sweetness if you want to and the kind staff will also adjust your drink if you want as well Grab your morning coffee if you're in the area. Support local.

Service first of all is amazing. Lisa (the owner) is great, down to earth, and very friendly. Because of the holidays it was slow so we were able to talk for a while and she's a very cool person.The drinks are delicious! She makes all the tea from actual tea leaves. Her drinks are not too sweet, even the ones that have condensed milk. She uses real Vietnamese coffee. She doesn't use any powders, including powder creamer. It's the best vietnamese coffee and tea place I've had in Phoenix.Ambiance-wise, they share the space with a restaurant. There's a cafe (Knock Out Cafe) and a Thai place (Bangkok Grill) that they share space with which for me is great cause it's a convenient place to pick up food as well! It's a nice casual environment. Plenty of seats and parking.Highly recommend! Coffee is amazing and the tea is great, too. And the owner is also awesome.Also if anyone cares about sustainability, she also puts tons of effort into sustainable packaging (all cups, stickers, cup cozies, and straws are sustainable and plant-based). The only thing that isn't is the stoppers, which she's going to try to transition to plant-based ones!

I happen to come across this place after a hike. I'm glad I did! The owner was friendly and very passionate about her business. From the choice of ingredients to the sustainable packaging, you can tell a lot went into the concept. I tried the iced coffee, matcha as well as the taro milk tea. All of the drinks were well prepared and had just the right amount of sweetness. Side note: The location is inside another restaurant, so be sure to enter and go all the way to the back! The place itself was pretty cozy, with plenty of seating.

Really good Vietnamese coffee. The owner really knew her Coffee and even gave me some stuff to try that she had been working on.
