Cogburns

Nice dive bar. Not sure what people expect after reading some reviews. If they want a fancy food and service go to Scottsdale. We went there a lot of times and never disappointed. Good fast service,great friendly atmosphere and just regular bar food.

Stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. Overall pretty good. Very casual bar vibe. The wings- ordered 2 flavors - salt and pepper dry rub which phenomenal and a honey bbq was fair. Wife thought it had a odd taste. Onion rings were served hot, good size serving. But the oil tasted a bit old. The Cajun chicken salad was great. The spice level was excellent.

I want to like this place more, but like others have pointed out, the girls behind the bar are often on their cell phones or just hanging out together and talking.They also allowed someone to sit next to me at the bar that was smoking a vape pen. The smell of the vape pen didn't exactly compliment my dinner.They have a good beer selection, lots of TV's and their prices aren't bad, but I just don't see myself going there very often.

If this place doesn't start to invest in more large beer mugs or an additional cooler to keep them cold I won't keep coming here due to warm beer. When they have cold mugs this place is great. The servers and bar tenders are awesome and the food is great. People just don't want to drink cold beer in a warm mug because they don't have enough.

Food was great and service was excellent. Our server was very friendly. There was no wait time. They also have great daily specials.

Went with my Wife and 3 Grand Kids.....sat lower level....very loud. Service was OK to start......Ended up as 1 and Done.......Asked Waitress about the wing order ....the answer was LUCK OF THE DRAW.....Since when does a food order need luck......this was not a Poker Game......There are better Sports Bars around with better Staff.

On August 2, 2024 approximately 8:30 I experienced the WORST customer service . I walked in with a party of 8 and when we all walked in there were 3 young girls with dark hair standing there amongst themselves. They did not acknowledge us at all and were looking around whispering between the 3. After waiting and NO question to be assisted we advised them we would need a table of 8 for dinner. The vibe then intensified as we appeared to be a nuisance to them and interrupting their conversation. One girl later ushered my sister to a table for 6 then walked away, like this was good enough! We proceeded to add a table to the existing table to allow for room for everyone. The young snooty girl came back and told us EXTREMELY RUDELY " Yeah....this WONT work!!!" Each encounter with these girls was basically demonstrating they were annoyed and did not want to assist us with a basic Hello's-can I help you, or seating arrangements or providing assistance with the tables. As a group I am assuming our bill probably would have been around 300.00 but instead we decided to take our business elsewhere. We called Cogburn's after leaving to speak to a manager to advise of the situation but it was obviously one of the girls that were pretending to be a manager stating we were at fault in this situation. Not sure why the verdict is pointing at us because all we wanted is to sit together and order food. Beware of this location!!!! Not only were we Not helped, we were rudely treated and blamed because they did not want to do their job. So sad.. Will not be going back. There are a lot of options for restaurants and we selected Cogburn's. What a mistake.

They offer so many wings flavors & have a great price on wings, on Tuesdays I believe. However, we tried 6 different flavors & all were bland. The PB&J, tasted only of peanut butter. Their motto is BIG WINGS, they average size at best. Our waitress wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly or attentive. I personally will not be returning and would advise to spend your money elsewhere.
