Coffee 48

In my purist book, Coffee 48 feels more like a coffee-flavored dessert bar than a traditional coffee shop. Regardless, the drinks were still very good.We stopped by and grabbed their Valentine's Day special drinks and they were both aesthetically pleasing and gustationally pleasant. In other words, the flavors were balanced and the drinks were not overly sweet! That's a huge win for me. Also, the service was very quick and I loved their world map on the wall. Made waiting for the drinks go by much much faster!Overall, Coffee 48 was the perfect pick-me-up for our drive to Saguaro National Park. If you're looking for a sweet treat with a caffeine kick, Coffee 48 is definitely worth checking out. It's all about the indulgent coffee experience.

I enjoy stopping here whenever I can. Coffee 48 is a takeout only cafe that specializes in Vietnamese coffee, lattes, teas and matcha drinks. The drinks are to-go only because Coffee 48 is a tiny shop with only a couple of chairs to sit on. The Vietnamese Coffee here is really good! I have also tried the Pandan Espresso and loved it. The drink menu is not incredibly large, but they have a nice variety of options for everyone to enjoy. They also have crystal boba as an add-in. I had a hard time finding this place when I first visited. Coffee 48 is in a little plaza area on Broadway and Dorsey in Tempe near Busan Mart. The lobby area can only hold a few people and can be a little tight. In case you didn't figure out the meaning behind their name, Arizona is the 48th state. Hence the name Coffee 48. Check out the cool world map on the wall while you are waiting.

This place is so cute!! Service is friendly and efficient, and the Bangkok latte is super tasty without being too sweet. The watermelon lime drink is INCREDIBLE, too

We finally made it to Coffee 48, and the drinks did not disappoint! This place might be a super tiny shop, so don't plan on studying or hanging out here, but you'll wanna grab these tasty and so pretty drinks to go, whether hot or iced. We tried a bunch of different drinks and I'm still swooning. The fresh Coconut Matcha Cloud was so dreamy and refreshing, the Mulberry Green Tea with cheese foam was so unique and the Vietnamese latte was a little sweet for me but otherwise really good. Seriously, obsessed with this menu! There's so many coffee and tea options that it's hard to know where to even start. But if you're into Matcha, the Blueberry Matcha is a must try. I'm already thinking about what to order next time!

Small coffee spot! Not a spot to sit and sip as there is only sitting for 2 people. But the blueberry Matcha was so good! Not too sweet and a great blueberry taste. My husband had the salted caramel latte and he said it was the best quality taste of coffee he's had. The barista was very nice and very patient while we debated what to order.

Such a cute little space! If you are looking for a coffee shop to sit and chill at, this is not the space for you. There is literally just enough space to order and go. There's a small table with 2 chairs but it's more to sit while you wait for your drink than to sit and visit. I got the Vietnamese coffee, my mom got salted caramel, and my son got a green milk tea. Everything was yummy. The Vietnamese coffee had a saltiness to the foam that was on it that was not expected but was still really good. All drinks appeared to be $5.90 per the menu board and they all come in one size. Good pricing for the size and quality. I appreciate the uniqueness of them using black cups for some reason.

We stopped by during the week around 4pm and it was not busy as we were the only ones there. The worker made the interaction awkward as he didn't greet us when we walked in and he only said a few soft spoken words when we paid and when the drinks were ready. We ordered three drinks. One Vietnamese coffee, one Lychee Green Tea, and one Salted Caramel Coffee.The drinks were good. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and definitely woke me up. The Salted Caramel coffee was not as strong but the flavor was delicious. The Lychee Green Tea was refreshing and tasted really good and perfect for a hot day. I would come back for that.Overall the shop is cute but small. The inside was clean and there was the one table we used to take our drink pictures at. We would've stayed if it had not been for the awkward silence..

A honey lavender espresso was ordered and quickly consumed. It had a strong coffee starter with a hint of lavender at the end. Very nice and aromatic. I dig.This place is great. I think it has a total of three seats inside, and it has just enough room for a counter and their equipment set-up. If you're looking for a place to do some schoolwork or something, this probably isn't the place for you. They advertise themselves as takeaway coffee, so do it! Coffee: The reason why we get up in the morningAs soon Joyce W. saw the Instagram ad, I knew we were gonna go in. For someone so sensitive to caffeine, the lady is a monster when it comes to coffee. As a coffee lover myself, I have no complaints.This place is cozy. I know you might be thinking small, but think even smaller. They advertise themselves as a take-away coffee shop so if you're looking for a spot to sit and do some work, this place isn't it. Take your drink and go.Joyce got the lavender honey espresso and I got the salted caramel coffee. Both drinks were more coffee forward with the flavors we got coming in on the back end. I like it.
