We usually go to Vertuccio Farms but decided to go to Schnepf this year for their Christmas. It was a nice chance of pace as the places are all very different.Vertuccio has a lot of rides that are hard mounted there - they are there year round. Schnepf went the opposite route - EVERYTHING is blow-up. Like some of these blow-ups were as big as a barn. Kids bouncing all over the place like it was some sort of drunk frat party. While this is cool for kids 5+ it is not good for kids under 5 or smaller kids. There are some bounce houses for smaller kids, but that still limits them. The burlap bag slide felt rickety. And worst yet, you'd stop on every hump and have to wiggle yourself down a little so you could keep going. They have fire pits everywhere and you can buy food to roast on those or eat around the campfire. Nice. The parking lot was a joke - both coming in and leaving. When we were arriving nobody knew where to go. When we were leaving there was one sign saying where the exit was, but we couldn't see it so ended up driving around trying to find the exit. The real gem here is the train ride. You get a nice 10min train ride through the fields where it is lit up with lights that dance to the music. Warning though, it does get fairly cold out in the fields so bring your jackets and blankets. The kids liked it, and it was something new so we will go with 4 stars.

I really wanted this to be a nice place. I'm surprised they haven't been sued, it is a complete hazard. No signs anywhere, only one guy working in the garden. We picked a few vegetables, mostly radishes and black eyed peas. Everything was so infested with bugs, I didn't want to chance taking anything home with me. I understand organic, that's great but it looked completely uncared for. I grew up with gardens and we never sprayed and I never saw anything like this. I'm hoping it was just a bad year. I understand that happens. The people working there were very nice and I did get some nice bread at the gift shop/ food place.

I have been taking my son to Schnepf farms since he was two for Christmas. i myself grew up in Gilbert and would go there for Halloween each year. However it's not the family farm it use to be. I bought tickets for the family to go before Christmas. My son fell ill, it turned out to be Covid. I called the morning of our ticket date( tickets I purchased directly on their website ) I asked if I could get a refund on their message machine since nobody was answering the phone even though I called repeatedly. called again the next day left a message. called again after Christmas left a messag no response. it wasn't till the beginning of January and me calling to inquire about upcoming events did I receive a call back. I was told unfortunately there was no way to refund my tickets nor could they give me a voucher for up coming event. I find that ridiculous. I purchased the ticket's directly from them. they could do something about this. I was then told had they been aware of this while the event was going on they would have been able to move the dates of I could gift the tickets to someone. however they were not returning my phone calls at that time. I'm truly disappointed because this used to be an honest down to earth honest representation of our community and it's sad to see that it no longer is. Thank you for all the years you have been the highlight of the east valley's holiday season. I'm very sad to see you go.

DONT COME HERE!!! I came here last year early December late October and it sucked. We went to the ice skating rink and the fake ice sucked. No one could skate because it's not even slippery my kitchen floor is even better than this. Also the petting zoo was so sad. Some of the animals were so young and looked sad.

Drove over 40 mins to come here and be turned away in the parking lot. They allegedly sold out. How do you sell out of tickets to a PUMPKIN PATCH?! I used to hear good things about this place, now I understand the recent bad reviews. What a terrible company and business practice. If there's pumpkins, why TF are you turning people away?! It doesn't even make sense. I will never come back here and will make sure to tell everyone I know not to waste their time as well. What a waste.

We were really looking forward to our visit and were HIGHLY disappointed in the farms preparedness to handle COVID precautions. Many guests didn't wear mask nor practiced social distancing. Lines had no protocol to maintain safe social distancing. The "hayride to reindeer" was neither a hayride nor were there reindeer (regular deer). We waited in line for an hour and were disappointed. The lines were so long and again lack of COVID safety precautions made us skip the train. Both the trolley and trains were jam packed. Walking through the farm you could have thought there was no pandemic. We have enjoyed many activities at venues outside and have seen safety precautions put in place. Good lines were unreal, no organization and workers didn't wear masks. If we didn't have a 2yo who was tired and hungry we would have just left but knew he needed something to eat before our 45 min drive home. We waited for 30 min for food which is fine but it was ice cold when we got it (2 grilled cheese and fries) the worker who took our order didn't wear a mask and also got up to go hug and kiss a friend. We had heard such great things about this event and were all around disappointed. Save your time save your money.
