The Phoenix Children's Museum is an absolute gem for families! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with vibrant colors and an energy that's perfect for kids and adults alike. The exhibits are super interactive and thoughtfully designed to keep little ones entertained while sneaking in some learning--sneaky, right? The climber in the middle of the museum is an absolute hit (parents, be ready to climb along)! The staff are lovely and always happy to lend a hand or explain an activity. Plus, they're all about making sure everyone's having a blast. The art studio, with its endless creative possibilities, and the pretend play areas are especially adorable. If you're looking for a fun, safe, and educational spot in Phoenix, this museum is top-notch. It's got the perfect mix of adventure and imagination. Highly recommend for families or even for a date day with your little one!

This was the second time we've come. Majority of the exhibits remained the same, third floor this time had a room for art such as painting and crafts. Last time it was a Mo Willems exhibit which was also extremely cool. The first time we went we failed to discover the outdoor courtyard. We checked it out this time and absolutely loved it. Our son is 3 1/2 and thoroughly enjoyed the entire museum

Review from an adult's POV taking their 3yo niece.Tremendous amount of fun. Firstly, free parking downtown, which also has an open side gate to walk over to the Heritage Square. As you walk in I'm just in awe at the metal, steampunkish multi level climbing structure, full of stairs, tunnels, fun dead ends... but note it doesn't get you up to the next level... adequate room for an agile adult... but huge fun for an adventurous kiddo. After that 2 more levels of the historic school, all set up for children's fun and activities, shopping, cooking, trikes, car wash, blowing pipes with scarves and much much more. Art room, kitchen room, fun recycled kid's cars and a good 2-3 hours of fun. There's a rather well stocked Cafe with all kinds of drinks, sandwiches and fruit. Outside of those doors is a fun foam zone. So bring a towel and a change of clothes. Rather more exciting and more to do than the science center. Impressed.

We stopped here for their New Years Eve bash! Wow!!! This place is crazy cool!!! I wish this excited when I was little!!! They have a huge jungle gym type thing when you first walk in. There's also these fun little activities. The second floor has a bunch of rooms and each room is something different. A place to build forts, a fake car wash you can ride tricycles, little colored cork board... sooo cool! My nieces wanted to play with everything! The restaurant has a lot of healthy options, but also pizza. And it has stairs to outside that has a giant courtyard with bikes, a fake fire truck and mail truck to climb in, a garden you can water, hoola hoops!!! Sooo cool!!!! I honestly don't even know if there was a third floor or not. The kids had so so much fun! And the NYE thing was cool! They dropped balloons and confetti! So cute seeing all the kids share! Gift shop had a lot of cute items too! So worth checking out w your kiddos!!!

This is a magical place for kids! This museum is super interactive, and my grandkids had a lot of fun (Age 8 & 13). Other than infants, this museum has something for everyone. There are three floors and activities on each level. The kids especially enjoyed the arts & crafts room, and of course, the gigantic tree house. Annual memberships are very affordable. There is a cafe as well as an outside patio for a picnic. Parking is free . Restrooms are located throughout, and there are plenty of friendly staff everywhere. From musical instruments to a pretend 'car wash', there is plenty to keep kids entertained. The museum is clean . Everywhere we went, there were employees working to make sure kids have fun and safe.

Visiting from out of town and needed a place to entertain the kids. The museum is huge and has so many different areas to play and interact for the kids. The piano, carwash, art studio, and giant treehouse were the favorites for my kids. We will definitely visit again when we are back in the area!

This place has thought of everything! Tons of spots for little little kids under one while the big kids play. Places for parents to sit throughout. This is an all day place for kids and families! They went above and beyond and I loved they recycle as much as they can where they can! Theirs so much details and love in this place we will be coming often here. The workers were so king and interactive! Some of the nicest people that show they really love their job. It can be very busy here but there was always room places so everyone was spread out! Thank you for a wonderful experience ! And making me tear up in the nursing room with the sign in book and personalized notes to other moms

True to its name, this museum is designed for children and my six-year-old daughter loved it. The entrance isn't very impressive, but once you pay the $17 per ticket price, walk around the corner and you'll see a three-level climbing tree with quirky stops like a bathtub and a car. There are three floors of interactive exhibits from a kid-sized grocery store to a car wash to small fake ice cream stands. The winners were every art stand. There's an art room on the top floor where we spent most of our time making art and creations.Overall, it was a great experience. A few of the exhibits are worn down and cheaply made, but our daughter didn't care.

This place was SO cool! However, I have a little issue.. I emailed the only email I could find on the website and I still have not received a response.I was there with my daughter and friends on January 21, 2025. On the second floor in the room that has the mailboxes, my daughter found a loose screw and I found the screw in her mouth. The screw came from a mailbox. Literally right where my daughter was standing the whole time. How it got into her mouth without me seeing blows my mind..I gave the screw to an employee and showed her where it came from. She called someone else in and they fixed all the screws. My question I had is, how often are the screws that are at the children's level checked? I'm wanting to go back but feel I need to wait until my daughter is much older and knows not to put things in her mouth like that. Just a bummer when that place has things for her age right now.
