Chicharron Shack

Ordered a plate of the chicken chicharrones with a side of French fries, and it was still sizzling when it arrived at my table. I couldn't bite into this chicken fast enough, and when I did, the crunch from that crispy chicken skin could be heard from the streets of Glendale through the subways of Washington heights. The chicken was the perfect combination of juicy, flavorful white and dark meat along with the crispness of the skin. It wasn't long before I was lulled into a delicious coma. After this experience, life went on as normal, but there was no doubt that I was forever changed from this experience. Every now and then, when it's quiet enough I still hear the whispers of Omega and El Alfa calling me back into the sweet embrace of chicharron bliss.

Ok, I can be a bit of a picky eater, and I can also not be a picky eater. The pork was great! Crispy, juicy and went well with the sauce they included! And fries; I am picky on seasoned fries. Most places think more seasoning is better. NOT. These season fries were just enough, enough season and salt. Perfect combination. For carry out this was a good choice in trying something different than I usually eat. All in all, you get a decent amount of food for your money. I highly recommend this place! And yes, i will be ordering again!
