The only positive reason I am rating this 2 stars is for the great happy hour specials.My boyfriend and I went here on a Friday night. They weren't busy, some people here but there were plenty of open tables and plenty of staff free. We sat for a good 10 minutes and no one came to our table. We asked for menus and someone who wasn't even working outside brought them to us and seemed frustrated doing so because she was busy and the waitress for outside should have brought them to us. We waited for another 7 minutes or so and still no service. However, said outdoor waitress was very clearly preoccupied with taking care of the table of 4 men that sat at the table right next to us. She went over to them at least 3-4 times, talked to them, got them drinks, ran cards, etc. in the time that we were waiting without any acknowledge to us at all. We were willing to wait and possibly order some drinks, but then looking at the menu they basically only sell burgers and had no veggie burger options. I was not about to order a plate of hummus or some other appetizer from their small selection for dinner.Would up leaving after close to 20 minutes of no service and probably would never go back, even for a great happy hour. Seemed like staff were focused on all the males in the place and paid no attention to anyone else - one example being the table described above but also based on other observations while I sat there with nothing to do whilst not being served for such a long time.

Lucas the "bouncer" has #zero #social skills he thinks because i'm old enough to be his daddy I don't have rights I guess he hates his dad. I rode my bicycle there on a Wednesday night and was offered ZERO place to to store my bag. I offered to place it behind the gate or have it searched but was told NO. No bags allowed which is weird since I was there at least once before with a bag and had NO problem. Look I get it on a Friday night or even on a busy game night, but when there are less then 10 people inside what is the problem with making accommodations for a person who rode there on a bicycle. Lucas and Charlie are NOT on my Christmas list this year.

There was a time, it doesn't seem that long ago, when I was in this building almost every day. It was a nice place to stop after work (for me anyway), relax, and it was comfortable. The building has changed hands multiple times over the past couple of years. I am not sure if it been the businesses or if they discovered that building is haunted with lots of footsteps and strange noises in the wee hours of the morning - but none the less, I decided to stop in and give the new place a shot. The layout is very different, which I don't know...the bar was in the center, which was kind of cool, but I didn't like the seating. It is open with seating around the walls. Behind the bar were some booths, but the other side was long bench like seats. They looked comfortable, but I really wouldn't want to hang out sitting with a bunch of people unless I came as a group. I don't think they have any food. What appeared to be a DJ booth was in front of the bank vault and the floor in front was open, so it would appear to be a dance floor. I went on a Saturday night around 9:30-10:00 and there was no DJ or dancing at the time. There were about five other guys sitting at the bar and one table with a couple of people. Not very crowded for a Saturday night on Mill Avenue. I ordered a beer. They had a descent, not extensive, but descent menu of craft beer. The bartender got it quickly and he did check in on me a couple of times while I was there. The temperature of the beer was too cold for a stout so I had to let it sit for a while. The music was very loud, especially considering there were less than 10 people including staff in the building. The concept paying homage to Tempe's historical past was cool, but other than the name and I giant poster I didn't see that connected throughout. I am not sure what the concept is, but it didn't connect with me. I am not sure if there is a more active time, but 10pm on a Saturday night didn't appear to be it.

Great new place! Super clean! The bartender Sean was very nice very Engaging. Smart now complimenting my ID at the bar ( Always a great move as a bartender) The food was Outstanding! The cook came out a hand delivered it to the bar. This place is VERY NICE! Also the drinks and specials are amazingHappy hour is amazing. Sunday it's all days This is really a place that deserves more trafficz

I love this place! I'm a huge fan of the mojito and always have a hard time finding a place that serves mojitos with coconut rum. I loved that they had the mojito in the moon tube as well - yum! My friend got the regular burger and I got the bed gyro and I asked for a blueberry mojito because it wasn't on the menu and asked for more Malibu and light on the blueberry vodka and it was delicious. The bartender was also incredibly friendly super helpful and the designer of the menu is also sitting at the bar who also chimed in to help us out. The salad was great I loved their dressings and the way they cut their vegetables. It made it so much more appetizing. she was also very accommodating with the substitution that I wanted to make for a salad instead of fries or chips. The moon tube was also a hit and search probably six of us. Definitely a staple on Mill Ave.

Do not go here! 30 minutes before 2am this past Friday a bouncer was overly aggressive in getting us out of the club. Which is crazy because there's only 10 of us there. When I told him to be nice he grabbed me and pushed me the ground. My husband came over to try and help me. A second bounced tackled him from behind and sat on him until the cops came 20 minutes later. This amount of force used was completely unnecessary. And we spent the weekend in jail due going to the wrong club that allows their staff to act like this to 1 of their 10 customers. We are currently at a attorney office to discuss suing this club. Screw this place. Look elsewhere for your good time.

This is a craft cocktail sort of place that tries to transform into a dance club at night but fails to do so. It was just an empty non-stop epileptic nightmare. It should retain its dignity and just stay a craft cocktail joint even into the night. Thereby being a refuge for those that don't want to go to El Hefe or Fat Tuesday to party hard. It should curate its own clientele, somewhere dates can go to actually talk, or groups can go to conversate over a great cocktail.

Bouncer let a girl in front of me in with a fake ID. He then proceeds to almost crack my ID in half while aggressively bending in multiple ways. I'm 25 and it's a real AZ ID. I've had my ID cracked in half by an bouncer on mill before so I ask him to be careful. He proceeds to let me walk in then grabs me as soon as I turn my back and throw me out. I hope this place goes out of business like every other one that has tried to open in this location.BTW I was sober.It's sad this bar is clueless on how to verify a real ID.

This bar is so unique compared to the others on mill ave. I am absolutely enamored with the bank vault that is inside the building behind the DJ Booth! As seen on their facebook profile, "BOOM" has just recently been the scene, with amazing music and awesome people to interact with! The staff are extremely friendly and there food menu during the day is perfect for the look of the place. Their cocktail menu is like no other and the selection of brew's are absolutely enormous and different like any other bar! Definitely will go back!

I was in town for a short visit and the place was up the street from my hotel. What caught my eye was they served Wagyu Steak Burgers. I went on a Thursday night arou d 6pm and this place was not busy. There is a nice outdoor seating area and I really liked that they offer a bunless burger option for all their burgers. The music was good and not too loud. I would recommend for a quick and easy dinner.
