Center City Catering

I have ordered from Pat Ohara on several occasions for luncheons that pertain to my business. I have used other caters in the past in Phoenix and would strongly consider you to avoid using Center City Catering. The quality of his food has been going down hill and just yesterday on 5/22/23, I ordered a Mediterranean lunch from his summer menu only to find out from several of my guests at the luncheon that there was mold on the pita bread. On other occasions he has forgot drinks and salad dressing to accompany the luncheon. In light of all this, they have no quality control. This is food not goods. If you can't deliver quality food what are you in business for? Pat should find another line of work.I asked for half the refund. He called me an extortionist. See text below. This guy is unprofessional.

Although Pat O'Hara with Center City Catering specializes in big and grand affairs in the catering world, he agreed to cater my backyard wedding of 120 people. We had a delightful tasting night with Pat and his sous chef, Adam, so we knew how scrumptious his food would taste. And yet nothing could have prepared us that night for the entree of our dreams, Filet Mignon with mushroom Marsala sauce. Yes we had other entrees that he made with care and tasted wonderful...but the Filet!!! All night long we heard raves from our guests about how tender and delicious it was. And for weeks afterwards our guests were still commenting about his dinner. Pat told us on the first day we met to discuss the party, "I'll take care of you and I'll hit it out of the park". He did. We thank you Pat and Adam and your courteous and helpful crew. You were OUTSTANDING. I needed an event catered. (45 people) They came HIGHLY recommended by a co-worker, so I gave them a call. I can honestly say - everyone asked WHO catered the event. SO DELICIOUS!! I ordered chicken kabobs, rice pilaf, grilled veggies, hummus, pita bread, salad, fresh fruit. This is my new 'go to' caterer!!!

I've worked with Pat as far back as 2014 and Center City Catering ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. Feedback from the various groups in attendance at my luncheons consistently rave about the food. Pat delivered a lunch to a 60 group conference in Glendale recently and I have gotten more than one response asking, "what caterer did you use?" I don't do catering offers very much in my career now but when I do it is great to know that Pat @ Center City Catering is still on his "A" game.

What an experience!! About 2 months ago, I called my high school friend Mr. Pat O'Hara with a challenge. As many of you know, Pat is the owner and Chief Bottle Washer Of Center City Catering.Brandi Campbell and I were planning on hosting our first-ever Kentucky Derby party. My challenge to Pat- create a menu for 50 guests that's Derby-themed and that people will actually eat!Pat went googling. His proposed menu was as follows: Kentucky Hot Brown (an open-faced sliced turkey and bacon sandwich, finished with Mornay cheese sauce), baby back ribs with a dry rub (BBQ sauce on the side), greens, baked mac n cheese, potato salad, and Derby Pie and his signature banana split cake for desserts.I agreed completely and we were set. As the day got closer, I got occasional phone calls from Pat assuring me that everything was on track and we would be delighted. I appreciated that, because I am paranoid by nature!The big day came and Pat and Cassie came to set up. The dishes were beautiful. The Hot Browns had to be served up separately and "build your own" so they wouldn't be soggy.When it was time to eat at the party, the guests were like 3-year old thoroughbreds charging out of the gates when the bell rang. Plain and simply put, Pat and his crew cooked their asses off. The Hot Brown was tender and people were creative with how they plated theirs. The Mornay was simple and not overpowering. The ribs fell off the bone, and the greens were, in my opinion, the best I've ever had. The Derby Pie was attacked and the banana split cake was a great non-chocolate alternative. Everything turned out perfect and I was approached many many times by guests complimenting the food and some picked up Pat's business card.It was a wonderful experience, handled professionally and with laser focus on our experience. This is the third time Pat's company has catered for us, and I've never been not delighted. I would encourage folks hosting an event to leave the cooking to Pat's team and enjoy your guests. Delish food consistently! And he can make almost anything requested. And at very reasonable prices. He's done business meetings and private, at-home events and does a great job with both. He's very available and sincerely aims to please. Highly recommend!

I have used Pat with Center City Catering for years both professionally and personally to cater parties in my home. Today I used them for an event for 48 people. I ordered chicken Marsala, pasta, grilled veggies, salad and a fruit tray. The food was AMAZING, everyone raved about the flavor and asked me where it was from. I only use Pat and his team and would recommend them for any event. Give Pat a call then relax as everything is in good hands. You will be thrilled with the service and the tasty food.
