Good meat cut selection but service is bad! The only friendly funny guy in there is the cashier. The attendants need more training in customer service as they are rude.

It's like being at a Mexican market! They have the best skirt steaks for grilling (ask to have them marinated then leave them in the refer for several days before grilling, the meat will be tender and juicy with all those smells and flavors permeate deep into the fibers of the meat). They also have a decent selection of hot foods including cooked meats by the pound.

Really great Ranchera and marinade to make some authentic carne asada tacos at home. Get a few pounds on Friday on my way home from work...let it marinade over night until we bbq on Saturday evening and it's soooooo good. I think 5 of us once demolished 4 pounds of carne and wished we had some leftover. The flour tortillas are also amazing toasted up on the grill...they have numerous brands but they're all good. I don't speak Spanish at all but I did go in prepared with what to say in Spanish for my order. I don't think that's necessary but it's kinda fun to get to speak Spanish and successfully order some meat and marinade to grill up with friends and family.

This is my spot for carne asada when I want to make my boyfriends week and prepare taco stand on the bbq. I called up a friend one Saturday when the craving hit, and asked him where the best spot to buy carne asada in Arcadia was. The entire kitchen staff at the Vig told him Los Pinos, so I thought it must be so. Then I went, and I knew it was so. I haven't shopped anywhere else, but I have tried other friends and by comparison I don't think the meat is as good quality. I buy my whole fiesta here, from the cheese (for taco stand Rocky Point style it's all about the Queso Chihuahua), guac when I'm lazy, hot sauce and salsa from the refrigerated case, and they also have a warm trunk of freshly made tortillas, and limes and cilantro in the small produce section. They are so nice here, even though I took French in college and high school when I should have taken Spanish. I have become such a regular here that they recognize me, and last time asked me why I never bring my kids with me. Lol. Do you allow dogs on a leash?
